    Thanks a lot i use herringbone knots for other things and I use your old video is kind of hard to see this one is way better.

    I can't tell you how many times I have watched this video and I always mess it up. I have paused it and did what you did, but still doesn't turn out like yours. I use the mandrill. Any other help would be appreciated.

    is there an alternative method of doing the 5L4B using a pinned mandrel like you were doing with the globe knots? it just looks more complicated for someone that hasn't done the turks head before to know how it is going if the working end keeps wrapping around the mandrel without some kind of pattern to follow

    That's it ! They call it an isis knot on some sites ... but this is far better with the acorn top ! Yay thank you

      Well the isis knot uses 2 ropes ... but this is close. I need to wrap it around an eye bolt 🔩
