Thanks bud 👍 It’s called Actis hybris, I don’t think the thermal values have any benefits however it’s way easier to work with, no hazardous dust and probably better for the environment in the long run! 🙌

Great video, looking to build my own soon. What size wood did you put between the floor plate and the cill? Is it 2 2x4's so your 100mm insulation meets the level of the door?

Hi mate thanks! Doors are all different so you’ll have to pack it up to whatever your threshold is. We used lengths of 11mm osb sometimes but anything under that you can just use door packers 👍

What height are your bi folds? If you working to permitted height of 2.5m standard doors are 2100 in height what about joists, floor plate etc am I missing something these must be small door heights?
