In terms of the fitting for triglavian hunting, what was it in particular that made you decide on extenders over purgers (both are enough to let you survive, extenders is more buffer while purgers is ~20% faster recharge). If you're going for 10-15 minutes more damaged then purgers will start overtaking extenders (and starts building up to faster regen quicker) while I guess extenders is more buffer for if you get ganked by a wardec or something (although in that case you're likely in equal trouble either way). Or I guess it's extra survivability for if you warp into a FOB fleet. Second question was the thermal amp vs another invuln field (or running 1 thermal and 1 explosive hardeners). I haven't checked the exact damage spread for triglavian recons (will probably check later) but unless it's near even then more explosive might be worth it (cap might be an issue, but only really if you're running the salvager 100% of the time, or you can switch off AB if getting neuted). And third would be how worth it has the damage control proved so far? It decreases damage on shields by ~1/8, but adding an extra BCU II would add another 50 or so HAM dps, which would get enemies killed faster and thus have you taking less damage. Again, is this one more aimed at emergencies like warping into FOB mobs?

I believe the idea of his videos is to show what can be done by the " Average Joe" player, either an experienced alpha or a newish and slightly PLEX'd Omega with affordable fits on attainable ships. Certainly he can afford a much more " Blingy" fit on an Amazing ship ( Nighthawk today, Feb 24, '20 ~ 449 million ISK in Jita), and trick it out t 5 billion ISK worth... ( appears to own more than a handful of stations, among other things) , but that makes it almost not fun to play... No Risk = No Reward. It's about challenging yourself and seeing what you can do in a minimalist fit. Like trying Burrows, or Hideaways in an IBIS.
I have not played in almost 7 years. I had 5 accts played for about 7 years. I cancelled my subscriptions. I still have billions in assets sitting in game. 4 Hulks, an Orca.. Providence, BPOs etc and hangars full of stuff. I almost always played solo. Just kinda lost interest. but I used to pay for my accts with ingame activities!
I didn’t even know u could harvest planets like that now I got something to do as alpha clone. Plus I want to kill somebody once in game like hunt them down and get them.
I love this type of games, however I have avoided EVE. I heard for a long time, from too many players that is highly toxic. That the learning curve is quite high. Also, that a player could spend an untold amount of time and resources to build a desirable ship just to have destroyed on the first fight. To add insult a typical reply is "suck it up buttercup" or "go play Yahtzee" and those are the PG-13 comments. Other comments are rated XXX. Thank you, but no thank you! I will continue playing ESO. Don't get me wrong, ESO has some flaws also, but at least when I died, and everyone does, I don't have to re-roll a new character from the ground up.
Do you always go along with what other people say and not try things or think for yourself ?? I was a die hard cod 2 fanboy until i tried BF4 and then realised everyone pushes their own agendas on you. I had the same situation with eve. Some people just hate it coz they cant get good at it. Just like dark souls lol.
I don't know how you haven't noticed, but the ESO community is very, very toxic, probably more so than any other MMO. Very few people in eve are toxic however, in fact many people will refund your ship if you ask nicely (from my brief experience, anyway). It gains this bad reputation by having fewer restrictions in what you can do to other players than other MMOs, as you can scam and grief in eve without any repercussions. That's just what makes eve eve in my opinion, and the best strategy is not to react when someone tries to troll you, or laugh with them. And at the risk of sounding cliched, just don't fly what you can't afford to lose.
"not that i don't trust my brother, who's also in the corporation ... but you never know" ... really ? really ? your own RL brother might steal everything you have in EVE ... hah ... eve man ... gets u most of the time
I tried eve 3 yrs ago for an hour, I drove a buggy in FPV and it was awesome then I got busy with life and didnt care to go back and continue but now as Im trying to go back, whenever I click on ayoutube vid to see if I should go back its always about managing boring resources.. its like all these nerds want in game money not fun. Is this the actual game? No first person driving and blasting off aliens then buying ships and looking awesome in your new cool ship
You don't know how to scan. Double click on empty space in your map after you place your probes on a sig, rotate you for 180 degres, then set your probes again and hit scan. It's much faster...
I'm a solo player and l got destroyed by a ahole player just coming out of a station.....so I bought a Titan how about picking on someone bigger ....my wallet hurts tough (Edit didn't get a Titan but something close enough to it lol)
ZZZZZ im a 12 year solo player, but even i recognize that spaghetti code and decision making by committee has relegated this game to the nostalgia bin. take it behind the barn and let ccp "employees" go home.
I've been playing for years, and still find plenty of entertainment in EvE. For new players, the amount of completely free content is extraordinary (I remember starting out my time with EvE by repeatedly creating trial accounts...this current Alpha Clone option is massively better.) It's easy enough to do activities that earn the ISK necessary to PLEX an account or two, or to work enough in the real world to simply pay the $0.36/day to subscribe for the entire year and never worry about making PLEX, funneling all earned ISK to ships, ammo, structures, BPOs, modules, trade, etc. I very much prefer the recent changes of eliminating VNI ratting/botting and introducing delayed local in null. If that was done through committee decision, I support that committee. I think a lot of the enjoyment people get from the game comes from making their own goals, creating their own games, and trying different things when they tire of certain activities. If I get tired of asset trading or building structures, I grab some friends and assemble an impromptu T3 wormhole exploration party. Lately, we've been having a grand time bashing domi bots trying to rat havens (they sure take a long time to align, but we easily cruise within tackle range before decloaking.) We sometimes have races around New Eden, with prizes for winners. Sometimes we try to set up temporary shop in an abandoned C2 wormhole for a month, get it running, profitable, and then sell it to some other corp. We share ISK in corp so everyone can afford to PLEX at least their main every month. Other times, we join up with a small corp and help them mine enough minerals to build several capital ships (using BPCs from our researched BPOs) at no cost other than spending time hanging out with a new group of players. By changing things up every so often and learning how to play during the changes of these "chaos" times, we're still having a blast. Expecting that things will never change about the way we play EvE today is ridiculous, and rage quitting because some change happens that we don't necessarily like is a waste. Plenty of fun to be had in EvE Online today.
@Diojr Well perhaps playing solo is the reason why he kept at it for 12 years. Multi player does not (and should never) mean you have to play with other players; it means your environment is made of players instead of AI. Playing solo or with others is just another 'kind of playstile variable' such as professions, security status, etc. the sandbox offers.
"Not that I don't trust my brother who's also in the corp, but you never know..."
This may be the most EvE quote of all time.

Stay in npc corp , till you know the game ;)
Hey bro I have a question... Why are you flying around in the Ishtar, when the Gnosis is a lot better and actually requires less skills to pilot?
Wait a minute, you are terraforming?
Well even the player with the best ship and the most money invested in the game can get their ship blown up, I assume so it's at least somewhat fair.
Hahahaaa, "hunt" for them? They seem to always drop right on top of me, no matter where I am at.
did you shut down that station?
I lost it due to a war.
@@delonewolf shame..looked cozy

Gotta love a game where you have to doing boring stuff so you can have fun... like why would you want a game to be fun most of the time?
Totally lost. Almost 8 minutes in I can't do anything you've shown so far. #Omega
People tend to hate us organ and stripper traders idk why it's honest business.
solo player because i trust no one ever
Chocolate baba
If you play solo , stay in npc corp ;)
Very bad idea actually.
NPC corp put an 11% taxe on anything you do.
"not that i don't trust my brother, who's also in the corporation ... but you never know" ... really ? really ? your own RL brother might steal everything you have in EVE ... hah ... eve man ... gets u most of the time
```````
Maybe soon I can figure out WTF you are doing here.
I tried eve 3 yrs ago for an hour, I drove a buggy in FPV and it was awesome then I got busy with life and didnt care to go back and continue but now as Im trying to go back, whenever I click on ayoutube vid to see if I should go back its always about managing boring resources.. its like all these nerds want in game money not fun. Is this the actual game? No first person driving and blasting off aliens then buying ships and looking awesome in your new cool ship
You don't know how to scan. Double click on empty space in your map after you place your probes on a sig, rotate you for 180 degres, then set your probes again and hit scan. It's much faster...
pve part in EvE is terrible designed
credit inccome in highsec is terrible. give us money or farm 24/7 no thanks
If it were too easy to earn isk no one would pay to play and we wouldn't have a game anymore.
what a shame, no pvp, in a game that's geared towards it.
I'm a solo player and l got destroyed by a ahole player just coming out of a station.....so I bought a Titan how about picking on someone bigger ....my wallet hurts tough
(Edit didn't get a Titan but something close enough to it lol)
What did u get out of lying about this
@@KingGumboot a rokh since I need to be Omega to get a Titan but worth it
This game is lame
Nobody can stop eve online from creating dummy players
ZZZZZ im a 12 year solo player, but even i recognize that spaghetti code and decision making by committee has relegated this game to the nostalgia bin. take it behind the barn and let ccp "employees" go home.
how do you mean?
I've been playing for years, and still find plenty of entertainment in EvE. For new players, the amount of completely free content is extraordinary (I remember starting out my time with EvE by repeatedly creating trial accounts...this current Alpha Clone option is massively better.) It's easy enough to do activities that earn the ISK necessary to PLEX an account or two, or to work enough in the real world to simply pay the $0.36/day to subscribe for the entire year and never worry about making PLEX, funneling all earned ISK to ships, ammo, structures, BPOs, modules, trade, etc. I very much prefer the recent changes of eliminating VNI ratting/botting and introducing delayed local in null. If that was done through committee decision, I support that committee. I think a lot of the enjoyment people get from the game comes from making their own goals, creating their own games, and trying different things when they tire of certain activities. If I get tired of asset trading or building structures, I grab some friends and assemble an impromptu T3 wormhole exploration party. Lately, we've been having a grand time bashing domi bots trying to rat havens (they sure take a long time to align, but we easily cruise within tackle range before decloaking.) We sometimes have races around New Eden, with prizes for winners. Sometimes we try to set up temporary shop in an abandoned C2 wormhole for a month, get it running, profitable, and then sell it to some other corp. We share ISK in corp so everyone can afford to PLEX at least their main every month. Other times, we join up with a small corp and help them mine enough minerals to build several capital ships (using BPCs from our researched BPOs) at no cost other than spending time hanging out with a new group of players. By changing things up every so often and learning how to play during the changes of these "chaos" times, we're still having a blast. Expecting that things will never change about the way we play EvE today is ridiculous, and rage quitting because some change happens that we don't necessarily like is a waste. Plenty of fun to be had in EvE Online today.
REEEE
@Diojr Well perhaps playing solo is the reason why he kept at it for 12 years.
Multi player does not (and should never) mean you have to play with other players; it means your environment is made of players instead of AI. Playing solo or with others is just another 'kind of playstile variable' such as professions, security status, etc. the sandbox offers.
@@michaelvillada4116 You don't know what is spaghetti code and what it causes, do you? At all, you are a complete idiot, right?
