This video is very misleading as the earlier Christian’s did not see the messiah as equal to God, it wasn’t until the Roman Empire and Constantine (who were heavily into paganism) gathered the church fathers and slowly altered the doctrines to his way of thinking
Not according to the church fathers. Ignatius of Antioch, Justin Martyr, Irenaeus of Lyons, Tertullian, Clement of Alexandria, Origen all predated the council of Nicaea ranging from 100-253AD and they all argued for the divinity of Jesus. What is your proof that earlier Christians did not believe the Messiah was equal to God?
The church father Ignatius writes in his letter to Ephesus (98 - 140 AD) the following. He says Jesus Christ is “God-and-Man in One agreed”. “Jesus Christ our God was conceived by Mary … “. “The age-old empire of evil was overthrown, for God was now appearing in human form to bring in a new order …”. This is just one letter from the Church Fathers. The early church clearly believed Jesus was the Messiah and God.
The narrator is lying. Believers in Jesus from the first century who witnessed him and his teachings never believed in his divinity because he never taught that.
Matthew 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 2 Corinthians 12:21 And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed. King James Version (KJV)
“And it was in Antioch that the disciples were first called Christians,” Acts 11: 26
This a good content my brother Christ, keep doing for this calling
