The "gods", (plural), of the Old Testament were not omnipotent nor immortal, they were flesh and blood beings, the Anunnaki, who traveled in spacecrafts. An omnipotent, immortal creator of all things would not need spacecraft to travel about in. "God" as portrayed in the New Testament never made an appearance in the time of Jesus Christ. 1 undivided church for the first 1000 years. The Orthodox Church still exists as this church. The Papal Catholic Church deviated from that apostolic tradition while Protestantism never actually had a chance to be part of the church.
