Agreed. Fuck that guy, I've got a little girl set to go to school in a year and her brother in 3 years. Due to all this crap I'm scared to send my kids to school and scared to have to interact with other parents....I certainly wasnt planning on homeschooling but I might if it keeps getting worse. I have a masters degree in counseling I'd like to use for some good again once the kids are in school, but I'll homeschooling if I have to.

The conservative Christian, talks about trans is based on a lie , is not based on a lie , sex is not being changed , because male's & females & intersex all exist so within , so within each of those is an expression of being within each of those biological sex classification has different genders representation within each one of those , biological sex classifications.
The difference vis conservative Christian nationalists , they want to control the representation within each of those sexual biological classifications. What is a women mean' in Matt Walsh arrogant tone , seems to fail to understand the very same Question what does it means to be a Man in the biological sex classification.
Does it mean that one man , who does not know how to throw an axe , means their not Being "man enough" ?

Her saying that "wokeness" has invaded our schools is laughable, but it will send someone crazy into a school to murder children thinking they're saving them from wokeness or something. It's hard enough finding rational people to make friends with as a parent of toddlers, but i can just peace out if a parent starts gender policing my kids or talking like a bigot.....I'm worried I'll have to deal with these people once I send the kids to school. I sincerely hate that the idea of "let people make their own decisions and keep government out of people's lives" has disappeared from conservative politics. It was at least tolerable when that was the standard.

9:35 Hi! Current public high school student here! Let me talk about my sex ed last year. It was during my health class, and it probably only lasted for about a week. The entire class pushed abstinence VERY heavily, and basically said, “Don’t have sex, but if you do, use a condom.” It talked about STIs and all of the different ways and types of sex through which they could be transmitted.
Like I said, they told us to use condoms if we did anything. (Which is going to be pretty useless for me, a lesbian. Sex ed overall was pretty useless) But they did not teach us how to properly put on condoms. I’m young but even I know that you have to put a condom on correctly for it to work. Go get a banana!! Show us!
The class also preached waiting until marriage and having one long term monogamous partner to avoid STIs. Again, I’m young, but I’m not stupid. You can still get an STI after marriage.
So, in conclusion, no, we are not watching porn in public school. Queer people let alone gender identity weren’t even mentioned in that class.

As a nonbinary lesbian literature involving how multiple love possibilities intrigues me. Also it would be completely incompetent to remove sex education from school such as how to protect yourself and how to check with your doctor and ask more personal questions. Because teens are dealing with a lot of hormones it's very likely that they'll experiment, it's smart for them to at least be prepared to reduce the rates of possible abortions or young pregnancies.

man don't even get me started on s3x ed. Our community is erased from these conversations and it's sad. It's sad to know our identities will not be represented by teachers, faculty etc that we look up to and trust in our childhood. We sit there and learn about heteronormative intercourse when that barely scratches the surface of safe and consensual intercourse in our community and that is so dangerous. s3x positivity in school is important for our youth's development.

    Interesting facts:
    U.S. only; age 19 and under; 2019 & 2020.
    1) transition surgery total 230ish. Lets just say all were under 18. Not true, but just as a ref.
Regret rate is apprx 1% so 2.34 people regret transition surgeries.
    2) females had breast augmentation, lip augmentation and cheek augmentation surgeries.
    Plastic surgeries.
    Approx 6,600 plastic surgeries.
If we say 90% were either to correct a deformity or females over 18, then that leaves 10%.
Which 10% of 6,600 is 660 unnecessary plastic surgeries.
Regret rate of apprx 20% equals 132.
Seems the protect the kids folks should be stopping unnecessary plastic surgeries.
Or increasing the amount of funding for mental health care as these would actually protect more kids.
Also on 3.19.24 the GOP protect the kids group voted down a resolution against condeming Russia from taking Ukranian kids.
Just more proof the GOP are just transphobes and not for 'protecting the kids.'

Boob jobs actually can serve a medical purpose if they are too big, I went through precocious puberty and by 12-13 I had triple D’s in a not tiny but considerably skinny 5’6 136lb frame. By 16 (5’8 156lb) they caused me so much pain, stretch marks, scabs, and sores that I was accepted to go in and get a reduction, which is considered a boob job. Now I know the contacts is different in the video but I just wanted to add this…. Also, I’m a trans Demiboy, I go by he/they

I wish more people would get comfortable with being uncomfortable. I understand people being a bit taken a back with the concept of trans people when they've never had to deal with it before and it's something completely new, but you can't keep avoiding things that make you uncomfortable because you can't live your life without experiencing new things. You can't live life being in a constant state of cognitive dissonance, especially when it affects (and in some awful cases even k*lls) others, but some people try to.. REALLY HARD!

My Goodness, she's evil! I mean, of course we already knew that, but dang! Kudos to Taylor Lorenz. I would never be able to stay so calm and keep asking those questions.
Couple of things I need to say though: Taylor mentioned intersex people. While clearly she meant no harm, please do not use intersex people to justify the existence of trans people. I used to work for an intersex rights organisation and all of my intersex colleagues always asked me to avoid using that argument. Intersex people have their own struggles that deserve to be seen, instead of them only being mentioned to defend trans rights.
On top of that I could imagine that trans people aren't fond of that argument either, because it implies that trans people are only valid because intersex people exist, which is of course not true. Trans people, including nonbinary people, are valid regardless of the existence of intersex people.
So my point is: if you read this, please don't use that argument, thank you!
And the other thing I need to say is that contrary to popular belief, being intersex isn't that rare. It's 1 in 90 people. Statistically, we all know a couple of intersex people.
