Hello, I got an emove cruiser that no longer charges du to a electrical short circuit caused by the charger whose wires were bare. do you think it could have damaged the battery? I learned via Voro chat that the cruiser does not have a fuse, but a Sinewave controller. Is this part supposed to have protect the battery in this situation ? many many thanks for any advices you can share
I was thinking of changing the battery like this once a day when I use the Emove Cruiser food for Delivery jobs….. (IF I KEEP CHANGING THE BATTERIES OUT LIKE THIS DAILY) WILL IT DAMAGE THE WIRES????
I'm assuming they skipped over removing the front wheel in part of the video you see it but when he was removing the front panel it obviously wasn't there.
Other then brighter turn signal lights and front lights the only possible thing that can be done to improve the emove cruiser is a easy removable battery for swapping!!. Nd there goes the most complete commuter scooter for decades at the $1400 price range nd best all around single motor scooter period!
NOTE: On newer versions of the EMOVE Cruiser, the cords coming from the battery might not be red and black. In situations like these, you will still follow the same rule of connecting the wires with of the same color (red to red, black to black, blue to blue, etc.). oi, how does this even have ipx rating?? no seals on anything? no lock tite either. I really want this scooter, but Im wondering if the things Ive been reading on different forums are right about this one. sigh....
I do not know how it has an IPX rating because I rode it a few times in rain and the accelerator got water damaged (the housing circuitry is literally open to the air from an unused cable hole) and when I took it apart to see if anything else was wrong I poured about a cup of water out from under the battery that had gotten in from riding in the rain. Not Water resistant at all. Nice scooter, it's fast and fun but do not think it is in any way water resistant.
y'all might want to mention that you cover the bottom of the battery in an absurd amount of double sided sticky tape so it isn't really "off we go with such an easy job!" It took immense leverage and strength to get the old battery out and I probably damaged the old battery in the process.
I was concerned with the lack of sticky tape in the video actually. The battery is not something you want moving around in an environment as bumpy as a scooter.

You don't need to remove the tire. Just fold the stem down.

I was moving my scooter and saw spark from the charge cable and now it won’t charge up does the battery have a fuse in it?

People have made videos pouring and blasting water all over it and it was fine. The rating is legit
you need to put locktite on all screw If not the screws will open

any bad part and support will have you take a lot of pictures. they admit they are looking for water damage. they expect it. ipx6 is not legit.
Umm.. my scooter has a much slimmer frame in the deck. Umm.. do you know where else they may put the battery?

My scooter does not turn on at all. Mid ride it just shut off and never turned back on. I can’t find any help
Could be a bad controller, or possibly something wrong with the battery
