Handlebar modification on the EMOVE Cruiser

- This week AJ is here to show off some new accessories in our store. We are now carrying three exciting parts to help you modify your ride.
The first component is a new Race face adapter to help you replace your handbags to any other handlebars you may want.
The second is a longer wide stance carbon fiber handlebar from GUB, and the third is new soft grips to use on the scooter.
AJ is going to go over how to install all three of these EMOVE Cruiser mods in tandem and upgrade the cruiser, then give some of his thoughts on the ride as well.

I love how you made the scooters with customization in mind
a good idea is come out with a custom bar that simply screws into the spot where the existing bars are
so then we dont have to destroy the stock bars

I have a question. Is it possible to add stem riser/extender to increase bar's height? I am not sure if only the spacer is needed.
I replaced the handlebar grips on my ES1 recently. To put it back on, drop alcohol into the grips, fit the handlebar in there and twist while moving it into place.

What exactly you put on the top?
Does this handlebar modification lower the height of the handlebar? I’m 6’3” and it’s already a stretch to ride the Cruiser at its top height. Can anything be done about that?
This modification allows you to add an adapter, so you can raise the height of the handlebars (for taller riders like you!). Thanks for watching!

Can I use my twist throttle with this new handlebar?
I tried to use the xtasy folding handlebars, but the twist throttle won't fit because the inner diameter is wider. The twist throttle secures to the end of the handlebar, but the locking plug isn't big enough to grip the inside of the xtacy bars. So I guess it depends on how thick the replacement bar is. Also you will need a 1&1/8" to 1" threadless reducer shim to put on a handlebar clamp to the cruiser's 1" stem.

Great upgrade. Too bad voro motors doesn't even carry a plug for the cut part.
A cap should be part of the kit no idea why they didn't have that as part of the kit...it's incomplete without. 🙁

The spacer sold by voro is sketchy the length isn’t enough and it comes it 2 pieces also whenever u tighten the stem it barely bites the tube basically 0 gap with one turn I bought another shim from Amazon with correct length still no bite I added half a shim still feel sketchy tho with no compression cap
What’s the shim called?
First thing that bothered me. First mod that I did.
Wide handlebar is so much better: more natural comfort, better control, easier to ride single hand, more space to fit accessories.
Downside: it is more likely to touch a car in the traffic. 😬
And no more folding handlebars so storing it requires a wider space.
Love the new handlebar, except...
Makes the scooter less transportable in the car. There’s always a trade off.
Where in the UK (apart from ‘beyond Electrek’) can I buy this (and also the tool for cutting the stem)...?
You can get the tool at a plumbing or hardware store.
Can't add anything the stock handlebar because it's square & already tight.

Too bad VORO didn't make the stock "foldable" handlebars wider from the get go. I'm sure many people transport their EMove in their car and with out foldable handlebars it might be very difficult if not impossible. Voro could (should) design a longer foldable handlebar 2 end pieces
Oh another thing. Dose this mod void the warranty?
If you are attempting a repair and damage the parts that are covered under your warranty it will be voided.
I have a shim can I just cut it and put a 31.8 setup with the new bars I don’t want to be without a scooter 🥲

If you cut the handle bar ot will void the warranty
you forget to close stem hole :)
If you are looking for a wider thing....... mind wonders.
lies. no spacer kit is included. and when you ask them about it, they gaslight you and say it doesn't come with it
