Actually the 'pedal towers' are not 'pedal towers', the Great Organ (hoofdwerk) reaches the full with of the case. Hinsz built an organ with pull down pedals. The pedal division was (as wel as the Brustwerk) added in 1790, underneath the Hoofdwerk at both sides of the console. Originally based on a Subbas 16 ft. The Prestant 16 ft. of the Pedal is a transmission from the Hoofdwerk, realised in 1975.
