    The notion of not just reproducing historical examples, but rather creating new art firmly grounded in the historical context, is high on my list of ideals. Thank you for this inspiring example of just that.

      Thank you! Glad you liked it :) Boars would be fun, unfortunately I haven’t really come across any Viking age boar depictions. But maybe I should try to imagine how it would look like if it did exist.

      ​@jonaslaumarkussen6045 Yeah that would be fun to see your take on a boar - since you seem to have such a good grasp on the various period artwork styles!
      The only cultural depictions I've seen of Boars seem to be more Celtic or even Gallic in origin. Or if they ARE norse related they are obvious moden interpretations and always based on the same Celtics influenced design.
