It is amazing that he could maintain the initial level of compositional quality and maintain the precision and consistency in perspective across the entire space of the mural wall. But that's why such work deserves respect, for the quality of it as well as the person's willingness to take the leap and make the time. But if someone living in a bad economy working two jobs a day managed to hone this skill on his one off day a week, that really is superhuman ability.

+J Taneli He has an astounding memory, he has of course looked at reference beforehand, but to remember so much information of an object like this, and rotate it and light it from a certain angle completely different from the original reference is completely mesmerizing and outstanding. It´s improvised because there is no previous sketch of the overall perspective and you can tell he is making up the composition as he is sketching. I guess the term is always confusing because some find it implies that he is completely making every design out of his mind, which is not true, he´s a great observer and has a great memory. It´s always amazing to watch him draw.

I really encourage you guys to start doodling like he did. Highlight the importance of observation in doodle art. Kim Jung Gi, for example, is known for his incredible observational skills. He can draw intricate scenes from memory because he's trained himself to observe and retain details. So, rely on observation; it also relies heavily on imagination. But do not forget that it's not just about drawing what you see but also about mastering techniques, such as perspective, proportion, and shading, to bring the doodles to life.
Without him, I might have lost all my confidence in doodling and quit art a long time ago. Thank you, Kim Jung Gi.... Rest in peace.

hes so amazing and talented, but by looking and staring at his work it seems like theres no emotion i dont feel one,if theres one maybe WOW and BUSY. which is okay i really admire his like u said details, perspective, proportion, and shading.
so i think the lack of emotion comes from Kim himself, Kim was really obsessed to his details and been drawing his entire life since he was young i will never say he forgot having fun he was just focused too much on his details that he didnt think about adding some emotional touch to it.
But then theres lets say Laurie lipton, she has kim's traits details, perspective, proportion, and shading but with emotions. tho different styles
maybe i just value emotions and message on arts maybe too much tbh XD. Idk its just people have different taste in art i guess :)

Without noticing, you are actually dimishing his efforts. There is no magic there, just constant hard work and years of pratice and study. There is, of course, some level of personal intrinsec influences, but that does not mean he did not work his ass of to hone his skills. Mozart adresses this very though in one of his letters, saying people think that all comes easy for him, forgetting his years of study and intensive labor in music since he was a child. I'm not offending you, but usually people say that to feel better for not trying so hard.
