  • Accordionist Félicien Brut explores the landmarks and neighborhoods of the City of Light in J’ai deux amours: The Paris Album. Buy & listen here: w.lnk.to/amoLY
The album is recorded with the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine and conductor Pierre Dumoussaud and features several guests, including the soprano Julie Fuchs. She joins with him here in the entrancing melody of "Sous le ciel de Paris" (by composer Hubert Giraud and lyricist Jean Dréjac, arranged and orchestrated by Bruno Fontaine), which represents the Eiffel Tower in his program.

There is a constant danger here of this beautiful melody slipping into a mad waltz, but Julie and Félicien save us again and again!

It's like 20 years since I've finished high school where I was teached French from 0 to fluent by the professor who used tortures to shape a bunch of bilingual morons...in to trilingual morons.
I barely used FR since then, and I've just understood this title.
It might not look like much, but some have had their 'Nam, and I've had professor Joachim.
P.S.: Who multiplies 20 in their numerals?
    Why 90 is not 10x9, but 4x20+10 ??
    Have you no shame,French!?

Because quatre*vingt+dix is easier to differentiate when speaking between dixième(10)9 neuf and dix nuef (19). Especially when you will have regional accents and non-native speakers trying to communicate verbaly in la lingua franka.

It would have been better to use only soprano and accordion! The orchestra just makes noise!🤔☹
