My sympathies to those who still struggle with this slippery bastard. After close to an hour dying and dying and dying, I think I just reached an almost sublime level of detachment from what I was doing, I hovered on a golden cloud beyond all notion of the rage and intense hatred that had been my fuel for the last hour. The battle was no longer a battle, it became an experience to savor, an experiment in strategy with no desire for either victory or defeat, only a deadly dance to observe and react to. I died several more times in this odd form of stress induced nirvana, each death became an obvious piece to what I realized was inevitable. When the victory arrived, it happened like this: Instead of maintaining range, fervently dodging the hideously fast range closing thrusts of his enemy, quickly draining his Qi with the Immobilize spell and Red Tide Transformation, the Destined One hung close to the White Clad Noble, using the knowledge of his enemies attacks and tells to tenaciously dodge and jump around his main combo, while also staying close when he used his attack that causes a circular eruption of water, for dodging away from this technique wounded the Destined one as often as saved him. When the Noble assumed his true form, the Destined one had only taken several minor blows and utilized only one use of Immobilize. The strategy remained brutally simple in the next phase, the Destined One, with almost full Qi, continued to maintain close to mid range, never allowing easy chances for the Noble to use his unnatural speed to perform a thrust that could span any distance, yes the Destined One had observed several lives before that the Noble’s attack at close range was far easier to predict and more often opened the Noble to further combos and heavy attack openings. It was only when the Noble had been reduced below half his life in the second phase that the Destined One employed Red Tide Transformation; he balanced his heavy attack while maintaining close range and filling the space with light attacks. When Red Tide ended, the Noble was at his last breath, and the Destined One utilized several combos along with an Immobilize to bring the Noble to heel. Seriously though, fuck this boss, I have my doubts as to wether I’ll finish this game, but damn was the win satisfying against this bastard.
I love this! And yes this has been my experience with each boss preceding and I’ll continue to enter my detached nirvana state of mind cause that’s all that seems to work 😂
Thank you for this guide! Was able to get him on my 4th try thanks to this guide using the spirit summon to open the attack. I used 1 immobilize during the early phase, and saved another for the 2nd phase. I also saved my transformation until 2nd phase as well to get off the strong attacks. The key in second phase is to press the attack and you mostly have to watch for his circular sweep. Ideally keep the gourd usage handy for second phase if possible and do the first phase mostly scot free, and it should be a breeze.

@@etzenhammer I’m old and terrible at these games. I just beat the Whiteclad Noble and believe me, if I can do it anyone can. I had no potions besides my upgraded Gourd. It took me about 12 tries and believe me, after 5 tries his movements become a pattern, you learn a little piece of the puzzle at every attempt. Good luck.
Here’s something I learned from the Whiteclad Noble fight: For me it was very challenging, possible game breaker. Now however I’m glad it was such. I learned a lot, his defeat greatly boosted my confidence. It’s. Lesson for everyone to take advantage of. Coming in to this game, One thing you really need is to be patient. (Patience is something I don't have lmao) Just a general tip on fighting this boss is to keep your distance and learn to dodge his attacks. Like every other boss he has a few seconds where he stops attacking for a bit. He also gets knocked back if you manage to do a full combo. Another thing too is this dude is QUICK dont chase him. Let him come to you, dodge and attack or use the stop spell if you have it.

Why people say this game is easy. This game is easily more difficult than Bloodborne. I have beat every soulslike under the sun. This game is beating my as for two hours now. Also how do you get the second special (red tides??), How do you get tiger pellets? Lastly, I see people writing about wolf forms and spamming R2??.What is that. Am I missing something, nothing is explained.
If you know where the big headed baby monk boss is right after the cicada scene in the first chapter, he is left of that boss. It's the tiger with the flaming lance.
Yeah the game is a souls like and nothing like god of war. You just go from boss to boss struggling, never being rewarded, not even with the story as it is non existent. I think it is rather shit and overhyped.
Before u beat the wondering wight if u go around that area there’s a little gate (one of those Chinese ones) go through that and you’ll see this big ass wolf with a double ended sword on fire beat him then u can turn into him using r2
Best way for me to beat him: 1 - Like the video said, rush in, dodge and use the that big headed beast on his ass 2 - use light jump attacks to your advantage, they take a little bit of heath, but it’s enough to make it worth your while. 3 - try to get through the first phase without using your flask, to save it for the second phase. Also don’t use many spells, none preferably until second phase 4 - use the freeze in the second phase and whoop his ass. Also use red tides. If you keep your distance, recognize when he lunges, you’ll do fine. It may take a good amount of tries, but that’s the point of games like this. It’s for those willing to put up with the challenge. Trust me, this game up to this point isn’t even on the same level as sekurio or even elden ring. Relax and have fun
Red tides has its own health bar so I planned around it, Sort of. If you start the fight with red tides and then freeze red tides is full near the end of 2nd phase. I did it with red tides, 2 freezes. Start 2nd phase with big head attack freeze. another freeze and red tides And LOTS of dodging.
@@542ringy Do it without the Evil Repellent (as if there is any choice). I managed to beat this guy finally, without any in-game performance enhancement drugs. Although, magic helps, a lot.
@@Mentis-de I disagree. It is a great game, especially once you defeat this annoyance. Absolutely fell in love with this game during chapter 2. & IMO it is better than souls games.
Its a tough fight, but a fun one. My first playthrough, it took me around 20 or so tries to beat him. Im old with no reflexes so i spend the first 10 or so tries not even trying to hit him. I just practiced evading his attacks knowing that i was going to croak. Only after i learned his moveset did i start sneaking in attacks. I dont use any spells or abilities at all during his 1st phase. I save them all for the final phase. I try to do the same with potions too. That is my strategy with all the bosses: no attacking at all for the first 10 or so tries.
Your video is so helpful, I was stuck after countless attempts but after watching your video I defeated the snake in one run. The tips of dodging towards him were brilliant and it worked! Thanks so much for your video❤
After one hour of getting killed, i finally defeated him! This guide works for me, i didnt take any potion and i was at level 19. Just a few extra tips for those who are still stuck at this boss, i'd suggest you to charge your staff first while sprinting towards him then get the first hit before he completes his first move (this will deal him quite a damage) -> then monk -> followed by immobilize > and finally red tides. You'd want to do all these consecutively to get the best damage dealt on him prolly two third of his health. And the rest is just follow this guide to beat him, just keep dodging towards him and attack, by the time you beat his first form you should have your immobilize spell ready to face the second form. I think his first form is harder to beat compared to his second form. I managed to kill him in just few times facing the second, the first one always a struggle for me. Just make sure you have at least half of your mana and gourd before he transforms, then you're good to go. Best of luck! ✌️
Dark souls vet here. This boss is very hard for the level you’re at when you encounter him. Took me over 30 tries but in the end the victory was awesome!
@@josephcook4498 "Dark souls vet". You are fodder. If you have a weird fetish to punish yourself by losing in video games ok, but if this took you more than 10 tries, switch to Smurfs.
anyone is still having trouble with this boss I can highly recommend using the Pillar Stance with a few of the early upgrades - especially for the 2nd phase of the fight. Just fire up a heavy attack and get up high to avoid his ground attacks and you can leap down and get a few valuable hits on him. Was really struggling with the 2nd phase before trying that.
This is the best guide I've seen and I've looked for plenty. All the others suggested to keep you're distance, but that didn't work for me at all. In those videos this dude looked like he was on Xanax in comparison to what I'm facing. If you remain far away he will make a few jump combo and get right close to you. The only way I can get to phase 2 is to press the attack and try to get close, not far. This one is really really frustrating ...
@@Elbethium :) Yes I did. Took about 30 tries and a couple of level farming sessions in between. Looks like the couple stamina level ups made all the difference as I ended up finishing him with half gourd full.
Best thing ive noticed that really help is being really close and dodging into his attacks kinda like a souls game sounds dumb but the closer you are the better chance youll have took me probably 10 tries but after that the other bosses are a breeze for the most part in the rest of the chapter
Thanks for this vid. I was struggling with this one for a couple of hours. Subjectively it was way worse than the Nameless King because it heals itself when below 50% life in the second phase and casually cuts any combo you try to pull off. The "get behind him when dodging" helped here. So did copying and pasting the save where I still had one flask of damage reduction/increase each. All the best man.
brooooo THANK YOU so much for the inside roll tip haha. I was just running away from the guy trying to dodge his attacks but never thought to roll inside him as he attacks. I watched this vid, tried rolling inside + the spirit on his first phase and beat him easy. Then on second phase imobilized him beat him up a bit and then i flamed up and did some more damage. And the rest just the old fashion way. omg before watching this video i tried like 30 times to beat this ninja lol. EASY!
The Grey Wolf mask gives you a significant damage boost to enemies under 50% hp. Because of this, you should pop Wandering Wight and Red Tides when the boss is under 50% hp to boost your damage output.
Kept my distance, used running charged heavies when he came at me and had the running buff armor set on for extra dmg 😅 but he’s def a hard boss, especially early in the game. Loving it all so far, been wanting a new game with a challenge and this is a really good one that’s perfectly scratched that itch. When I finally learned to count and plan my attacks instead of just spam, and take a breath and slow down a little bit, things got a lot easier. I think the fast pace of the game got to me in a way and pretty much tricked me into playing worse because I thought I had to keep up with the movements instead of controlling them. For anyone stuck on this guy, I believe in you! You got this!!
I actually beat this guy without the transformation, as I missed it. Took me about 30 attempts. Standing up on your staff stance on second phase is pretty much the best way, all his attacks are low.
To be honest he wasnt that hard to beat. It doesn't take no days to beat this guy, (at least for me it didnt on no aspect). Yes he took a bit of time, roughly about an hour but that's because I was using my tools wrong. After I got his combos down pact I spanked him so bad I did it with a gucci belt.
worst part is once you do actually beat him bro just blames it on his brother and dips. like hes like “oh no plz im we lwittle lamb dont kill me” after destroying our essence like a million times
I remember watching your guide when I was playing Lies of P, especially the Laxasia the Complete guide. So for helping me beat her…. And thank you for this guide too. Hopefully I’ll be able to beat him tonight when I stream later. Keep up the good work sir.
This helped a lot and managed to down him first turn after watching him! Dodging into him helps alot and popping the special attacks when said worked so well
I would recommend using portions so early. You are most likely just going to waste them. Also if you are on PS5, play in quality mode. The input lag on performance mode is horrendous and makes this boss even more frustrating.
Got him in about 10 tries, attack buff with pill at beginning of each phase. In first phase if you stay close to him he will do his fast combo endlessly, so try to alternate distance and predict his combo. Second phase use your cooldowns and don't let him do his circular wave attacks. He has a three wave attack after which he will always thrust and reach you from anywhere on the map, but thrust is easily dodgeable and will leave him open to immobilize and combos. Good luck fellow simians.
I “beat” him first try through sheer dumb luck only to find out he has a way harder second phase. Now I can’t even get close to reaching the second phase lol 😭
elbethium seems to be more leveled than i was, his damage output was a bit bigger. if you have the same issue, hold your resources for the 2nd phase. the first one is easier to learn and the healing in the 2nd phase puts you into a dps race. however, the general ideas worked for me though i wanted as many freezes as possible for the 2nd phase. the fire transformation though makes the difference. get it asap. in the 2nd phase you want to keep your distance because he is dashing into you - contrary to the 1st where he is waiting a lot, then always only hit once as you immediately trigger attacks - and open for a combo with the heavy finish. this way you'll chip and race a liitle more than he is healing and the rest is done by fire trafo and 3 freezes.
The spike in diffitulty here is frustrating af, I could beat this guy if i take half an hour for an attempt and play it super safe but that shits broing asf
my humble advice after beating (2-3 hours in total of tries and farming in between) is making First phase last as short as possible dodging a lot combos when you get the chance and using big head for extra damage. That way you get to second phase with most of your health and resources almost intact (health is crucial to resist his attacks) Be patient and learn his movesets you will survive.
Hard flight I thought I had him then I have to fight him twice. Damn it's hard but so rewarding when you win. I'm going to try to do it this way and use these tips hope they work for me
The trick to beating this boss is to dodge his charge attack. If you dodge his charge attack you can land an m1 combo and run. How i beat him was just to bait out his charge and land m1 combos. Pillar stance is also very useful for this boss.
I just started playing yesterday it is now 6 in the morning and I been fighting this dude for hours lmao 🤣. The dopamine Rush is gonna feel great when I'm threw with him
So I figured it out, once he turns into the snake don’t just try to dodge him by going through him just literally attach yourself to him and keep dodging towards him and hitting him. It just works!
The second phase was giving me trouble until I started using the running charged attacks, just ran circles around him and totally decimated this guy at the second try. For those complaining about the fight, just play Shadow of the Erdtree a while.
took me 80 tries to take this sob down. Any way to do him is good. I just learned his attacks and stepped aside when time was right and stayed on his back all the time. Finished him mostly with light attacks. Takes practice and having a good day.
Honestly I just been farming kills to get more points to upgrade more abilities, this game reminds me instantly of sekiro shadows die twice but not as hard, just got have patience and not spam attacks with this one cause he’ll smash right through you
Immobilize him as he always dashes as his first move. Get the first hit. Then just be patient and keep distance. Try to save as much of your extra health and transformations for the second fight
After dying over 40 times and spent 2 days.. I can say guy this video tips truly helped me out... just listen to him.. dodge in to him and smash the buttons. You'll defeat him
This boss is the first wake up call after some pretty easy bosses. I struggled hard, but eventually you get used to his moves in the first phase. It took me 20+ tries spread over a few days. Infuriating, yes. Rewarding, definitely. I didnt have wight ability so I opened with an immobilize and full light attack combo. Try to save your mana and gourd for phase 2 from there on. My best advice is to create distance. Learn his patterns and dodge timely. Punish with light attacks and follow up with a heavy when you have focus to spend. Distance yourself after every dodge - attack sequence. The vertical waves can easily be outrun when youre far enough. Good chance to regen your stamina meanwhile. He'll end that sequence with a bending his knees before lunging forwards. Delay your dodge just a fraction upon seeing him bend his knees and punish with light attacks afterwards. Distance when he does that sequence where he spins on his spear. He ends that one with a little jump attack. Dodge when he makes air. Shouldnt take too long to get used to that. Phase 2: GUNS BLAZING. Immobilize and transform. Punish with lights till that meter is filled up. Try and dodge what youre able to see. Dodge and heavy for BIG damage when your meter is filled while transformed. Keep huge distance again afterwards. Stay on the offensive. Try and summon your snakes on a good moment. Use immobilize off every CD. It might take another few tries, but you will get it down. Gogo
Honestly, it was tough at first but eventually you read his moves pretty easy and it’s just knowing when not to take the bait. Meaning, he only has three moves. A thrust stance, a one where he spins on his staff and then thrusts towards you, and then the air slices immediately followed by a long range thrust. Even in his second phase he has the same move set. Once you realize this it’s very easy to read his moves. Struggled for like an hour and then read his moves like Neo in the matrix
There is some weird type of dynamic difficulty in this game. I almost beat him after a few tries and then he start being more aggressive and doing moves he never did before. Now i can't reach the point i was before...great design.
I’m having such difficulty with this fight and it’s been 3 days but I’ve been learning a bit. Just gotta time it and not rush in. Just make my hits count when and where they can even if it takes a while.
Hope this helps at least one person. Get to level 30 upgrade all your magic health etc then it's manageable. I tried at level 20 about 70 times couldn't do it believe me upgrade your sh*t and it's fine
No joke, I'm at LEVEL 51 and I STILL can't beat this guy (his Phase 2), but I've been trying to use both Smash and Pillar stances to beat him. Plus, I only have 1 bottle of Tiger Pellets as I'm not able to buy anymore potions from the shop. I'm going to have to reallocate all my points from Pillar Stance to fully max out my Smash Stance skill tree. Hopefully, that would work.

@@moghailan1788 I’m back brother and Wukong is awesome , I know that boss is fucked up but you can beat him, Remain patient in the fight And allow him to attack and you must last second dodge, Other bosses are tough too but it’s actually rewarding when you win
Took me 2 days (45 attempts) to beat this bastard and I have never felt more satisfied about anything in my life than I do now. I couldn’t focus at work just thinking about how I’m going to beat the shit out of this guy. And yes, I will be adding it to my resumé.
No strategy just pure rage, breathe control and 100% focus. Good luck 😂
Lmfaooooo
Why people say this game is easy. This game is easily more difficult than Bloodborne. I have beat every soulslike under the sun. This game is beating my as for two hours now. Also how do you get the second special (red tides??), How do you get tiger pellets? Lastly, I see people writing about wolf forms and spamming R2??.What is that. Am I missing something, nothing is explained.
@@kiekiek for the life of me i cannot remember who dropped it 🤦 but hey, go at your own pace and let no one presure you 😄👍
If you know where the big headed baby monk boss is right after the cicada scene in the first chapter, he is left of that boss. It's the tiger with the flaming lance.
Excellent
Yeah the game is a souls like and nothing like god of war. You just go from boss to boss struggling, never being rewarded, not even with the story as it is non existent. I think it is rather shit and overhyped.
Before u beat the wondering wight if u go around that area there’s a little gate (one of those Chinese ones) go through that and you’ll see this big ass wolf with a double ended sword on fire beat him then u can turn into him using r2
Dude your an absolute lifesaver best black myth wukong creator by far and i look forward to more guides!
@@Triam34 i cant thank you enough for that 🥹👍
Best way for me to beat him:
1 - Like the video said, rush in, dodge and use the that big headed beast on his ass
2 - use light jump attacks to your advantage, they take a little bit of heath, but it’s enough to make it worth your while.
3 - try to get through the first phase without using your flask, to save it for the second phase. Also don’t use many spells, none preferably until second phase
4 - use the freeze in the second phase and whoop his ass.
Probably took me like 10 tries to beat him. 1st phase fooled me, I thought he was a cake walk until phase 2😊
i think 10 tries is super pro already. 100 times maybe just a pro.
Dodge towards was the thing I was missing! Thanks for the vid! :)
Glad I could help!
I used up all the items you have mentioned. They are no longer available for buying.
same here , i can get anymore evil repellent
@@542ringy Do it without the Evil Repellent (as if there is any choice). I managed to beat this guy finally, without any in-game performance enhancement drugs. Although, magic helps, a lot.
It's a stupid game made by stupid people who are trying so hard to make a souls clone game. what did you expect?
@@Mentis-de I disagree. It is a great game, especially once you defeat this annoyance. Absolutely fell in love with this game during chapter 2. & IMO it is better than souls games.
@@Mentis-deskill issue
Glad it helped!
The wandering wight before immobilize actually helped a lot
Love the tips. I don't think I would have done it without you
Glad I could help!
Great tips!! After your video I destroyed him with only getting hit once maybe twice. Thank you for the video
@ dumbest comment award goes to you, go cry about it on your own. No need to share your dumb thoughts here 🤣
@@antoinecringemann rot
Tried about 10 times, found this video and using your tips only took 2 tries before I had it done and dusted. Thanks for posting this kinda thing
anyone is still having trouble with this boss I can highly recommend using the Pillar Stance with a few of the early upgrades - especially for the 2nd phase of the fight. Just fire up a heavy attack and get up high to avoid his ground attacks and you can leap down and get a few valuable hits on him. Was really struggling with the 2nd phase before trying that.
@@bomberslc the key is not to stay up there too long. Just long enough for him to be close enough for a heavy strike from above.
@@marzipanmonkeyNot staying in pillar stance to long is what just got me through. Thanks!
@@DarkBlueRH congrats! Was a tough one for sure.
Appreciated a LOT. Did you get thim?
@@Elbethium :) Yes I did. Took about 30 tries and a couple of level farming sessions in between. Looks like the couple stamina level ups made all the difference as I ended up finishing him with half gourd full.
Best thing ive noticed that really help is being really close and dodging into his attacks kinda like a souls game sounds dumb but the closer you are the better chance youll have took me probably 10 tries but after that the other bosses are a breeze for the most part in the rest of the chapter
Your technique of dodging underneath and forward was just the thing that i was missing. I am glad it did not come to beat him for days 💀
Fucking amazing video. Got him on my first try at level 15. Great job!!
All the best man.
thx alot all it took was doom music, this video,ui and ''i understand it now"

brooooo THANK YOU so much for the inside roll tip haha.
Because of this, you should pop Wandering Wight and Red Tides when the boss is under 50% hp to boost your damage output.
how to get the mask?
@@Tigey-xv2dw you should have gotten it when you beat the wolf like boss
Must be a bug cos I never got the mask in my inventory 🙄
I finally made it!! basically noticed i was missing the Wolf mask, made a difference THX!
I can't get potions anymore
The Whiteclad Noble reminds me Orochimaru from Naruto
I remember watching your guide when I was playing Lies of P, especially the Laxasia the Complete guide. So for helping me beat her…. And thank you for this guide too. Hopefully I’ll be able to beat him tonight when I stream later. Keep up the good work sir.
Thank you so much for watching, and good luck on the stream!
Oh it’s that freaking Tiger Vanguard I’m stuck on.

I was looking forward to play the game. The first few boss was alright. Then, this guy show up.
Damn, that was so freaking helpful that it seemed way too easy
Finally beat him last night after my 10th attempt. They definitely make you work for that one lol
Came back after beating him! So satisfying, had to farm my guy up to level 25 lmao.

This boss feels like the elden beast
No, its more like a water Messmer, EXCEPT EVEN FUCKING MESSMER HAS SHORTER COMBOS!
@@Vivec-1 yeah that makes more sence since he has long attacks i already beat him and in chapter 2 theres a boss harder than him called tiger vangaurd
this video was so helpful tysm!!
No problem!!
BROOO HOLY SHEEEEETTTT
Just changed into Quality Mode 30fps & finally the dodging mechanism itself is way more responsive & beat this snake guy
I just bought the game today and managed to get beat chapter 1 including the optional bosses in under 4 hours, but this guy gave me the most issues
I “beat” him first try through sheer dumb luck only to find out he has a way harder second phase. Now I can’t even get close to reaching the second phase lol 😭
i beat him, trust me nothing feels better than that rush i literally just speed ran the entire chapter one after i beat him cause i was so excited
I hate guides where its like , all you have to do to start is have all these resources first off
you love guides that let you win without any effort whatsoever. Silly me
I love guides that actually work first try. Plus did it without the resources. Just use damage reduction and dodge as said
he is kicking my ass rn hac to pause been at it for 40 mins straight I can get him to his second form but its hard to read him
elbethium seems to be more leveled than i was, his damage output was a bit bigger. if you have the same issue, hold your resources for the 2nd phase. the first one is easier to learn and the healing in the 2nd phase puts you into a dps race. however, the general ideas worked for me though i wanted as many freezes as possible for the 2nd phase. the fire transformation though makes the difference. get it asap. in the 2nd phase you want to keep your distance because he is dashing into you - contrary to the 1st where he is waiting a lot, then always only hit once as you immediately trigger attacks - and open for a combo with the heavy finish. this way you'll chip and race a liitle more than he is healing and the rest is done by fire trafo and 3 freezes.
The spike in diffitulty here is frustrating af, I could beat this guy if i take half an hour for an attempt and play it super safe but that shits broing asf
Have to agree. Started getting super into this game, got to this guy, annnnnd it's been derailed lol
my humble advice after beating (2-3 hours in total of tries and farming in between) is making First phase last as short as possible dodging a lot combos when you get the chance and using big head for extra damage. That way you get to second phase with most of your health and resources almost intact (health is crucial to resist his attacks) Be patient and learn his movesets you will survive.
I suggest using the pole for this boss. You can literally just stand on it and it'll dodge almost all his attacks.
Tried it, knocks you down almost instantly
Hard flight I thought I had him then I have to fight him twice. Damn it's hard but so rewarding when you win. I'm going to try to do it this way and use these tips hope they work for me

@@arakliev wow thank you SO much

Ugh his second form gets me every time
Jesus Rad Brad makes it seem so damn easy !!!!
The trick to beating this boss is to dodge his charge attack. If you dodge his charge attack you can land an m1 combo and run. How i beat him was just to bait out his charge and land m1 combos. Pillar stance is also very useful for this boss.
Got it first try after this video what a lad
You did fantasticly great! 👍
I just started playing yesterday it is now 6 in the morning and I been fighting this dude for hours lmao 🤣. The dopamine Rush is gonna feel great when I'm threw with him
What is “pop your transformation and spam triangle”? I don’t have that. How do I get that?
2.5 Hours of my life wasted 22 attempts with your strategy never playing this game again gave away the disk
I Took the Platinum trophy its not easy, but very possible. My best way is to keep calm and have focus💪🏻👑
@@rayality4968 always 👍
bro i dont got defense potion in the shop. I bought them out at the begging and wasted them, they never respawned in the shop
took me 80 tries to take this sob down. Any way to do him is good. I just learned his attacks and stepped aside when time was right and stayed on his back all the time. Finished him mostly with light attacks. Takes practice and having a good day.
Honestly I just been farming kills to get more points to upgrade more abilities, this game reminds me instantly of sekiro shadows die twice but not as hard, just got have patience and not spam attacks with this one cause he’ll smash right through you
I'm so bad at this game... I didn't realize there wasn't a difficulty setting.
So glad I’m not the only one struggling 😂😂
Immobilize him as he always dashes as his first move. Get the first hit. Then just be patient and keep distance. Try to save as much of your extra health and transformations for the second fight
After dying over 40 times and spent 2 days.. I can say guy this video tips truly helped me out... just listen to him.. dodge in to him and smash the buttons. You'll defeat him
Happy to hear i helped 👍
Gogo
i have done 30 in one day i think i will get it soon
Update: I just beat him.
Hope this helps at least one person. Get to level 30 upgrade all your magic health etc then it's manageable. I tried at level 20 about 70 times couldn't do it believe me upgrade your sh*t and it's fine
How to upgrade
I lost a part of my soul fighting this beast
No joke, I'm at LEVEL 51 and I STILL can't beat this guy (his Phase 2), but I've been trying to use both Smash and Pillar stances to beat him. Plus, I only have 1 bottle of Tiger Pellets as I'm not able to buy anymore potions from the shop. I'm going to have to reallocate all my points from Pillar Stance to fully max out my Smash Stance skill tree. Hopefully, that would work.
Add max points to health stamina and defense and immobilize first makes this much easier
