  • Ben Cleuch is a braw wee hill just north of Tillicoultry in the Ochil hills. This route up Mill Glen has several impressive waterfalls, an old quarry and great views down over the Stirling area and Firth of Forth.
The walk itself is around 4-5 hours and starts off at the end of Upper Mill Street in Tillicoultry and gives a good stroll in the hills close to the central belt.

Very interesting " absolutely amazing it's not the size of the hill"
There are some outrageously outstanding walk in the Ochils, Campsies, Touch Hills,
    The Gargunnock Hills, Kilpatricks, Trossachs,
Pentlands, Southern Uplands and the South West Galloway Forest Park.
I'm glad you you enjoyed this walk.
I honestly think the Munro and Mountain bagers are out of kilter with the true beauty and nature of the beauty of Scotland.
    Maybe Toxic masculinity😂😂😂

I agree, so many beautiful places there. I think the munro bagging thing is more a society thing in general with wanting to compete at everything rather than toxic masculinity. If it hasn't got a number attached, how can I prove I'm a better human being because I've bagged 2 more munros? 😄

@@ScottishMountainGoat I was being tongue in cheek with the Toxic masculinity.
I can remember a few years back I stayed in a hostel in Glencoe with the big boys I was wanting to fight them because they were disparaging to the Ochils, my male masculinity really got a hold on me.
They were bragging about glissading, I said it's not glissading as where I come from you take of yur JAICKET and Skite down on your arse.
I wanted tae kill the Bams.

How long did the walk take? Up and down in daylight, it appears?

Hey Emmet, I don't think this route would be. Theres a small rocky section at the foot of the first hill that would be tricky to life a bike up. I've seen folk out biking further west in the ochills near Dumyat though. Sorry I couldnt be more help.
