I hope this post blows up. I’ve watched a lot of these Frusciante highlights and you know what I’m really feeling this one. I actually agree with you that these are some of the best ever. Right on brotha right on sista! Except for the 20 shows I went to over years though of course. I’m not counting the ones without Frusciante all those other guys were talented in their own ways but it’s just nowhere close to this ! He’s the only one that created this style, greatest tone, greatest performer and improviser god I could go on all day. Thanks again. And thank you John hit me up sometime
Awesome video all around. To say a couple that didn't make the list: So much I at Wembley (2007) and Minor thing at Dresden (2003). Other personal favourites of songs you did include could be: If you have to ask Santiago de Chile (2002). Californication at Yokohama (2004). My absolute favourite I could have lied at Hamburg (2002). And Don't forget me at Inglewood (2006, not 2003), the final solo + the most gorgeous extended outro I've ever get to hear.
Man I think my last post got erased here we go again.. thanks for the clip. He’s still the greatest of all time, but nobody will ever top the way John played lived from 1999-2007. His hair was cooler back then too. I love the new albums and he’s really still got it creatively and in the studio. But he’s just not quite putting the same into it in 2022-23 like what you see here! I wish I could talk to him about this. But still I guess it’s cool to chilli out in your old age to ya know rock on !

you put the best solo of frusciantes carrier as #1 not many people recognized this. But you could have picked a better solo part in the scar tissue song also performed at slane. Even flea looks in disbelief at frusciante for improvising that masterpiece :)

I highly recommend to watch the Eddie solo from Tokyo not too long ago I think it’s the best Eddie solo to date
