I was reading through my journal last night and there were all these notes and inspiring thoughts I'd written down from your videos over the past months, and it filled me with so much gratitude and warmth because life might look the same on the outside, but I feel like there's been so much connection and growth within me this year and your wisdom has been this grounding, guiding light for me. are you against birth control? and is one able to still provide for the body in the same ways during the different cycles if you are on birth control? I’m on a low dose pill because it really helps me with symptoms and overall regularity in my cycle, as well as lowering my anxiety. I just was wondering if I can still care for my body in the same ways while on it? Love your videos ❤
You don’t experience the phases of a natural cycle if you‘re on hormonal birth control :) but it‘s always a good thing to listen to your body and to take care of it/giving yourself what you need, in order to how you feel :)
I am not for or against it, but I do think women deserve more information on the effects it has on our body. I really recommend reading the book "This is your brain on BC"
question: (this isn't meant to be rude in any capacity! i'm just curious) do you ever get bored of simply thinking of food as medicine and adding as many 'healthful' ingredients as possible? like do you ever just sit back and want a little treat? crave balance between health for your body and some fun? love you videos xo
