My only complaint is the video cut off right before the solo! Matthias is such an awesome guitarist and is totally for real having a blast whether it's in front of 200 people or stadium of 50,000!!! When there are so many Primadonna's that kill themselves because they can't handle fame or whatever and all they care about is being on TMZ this guy shuts them all down and is having a blast!👍👍👍

Jealous...would have loved to be there. The singer covers Klaus Meine pretty well, but of course lacks the range and operatic expertise. Matthias Jabs...what else can you say? He's a legend...too often under rated, and over shadowed by Ulrich Roth's early stint with the Scorps.
I Love Mathias and Ulrich Roth as lead guitarists. I do not like to say better or worse anymore but you cannot say anyone is better than Uli! Mathias sure fit in perfectly with where they went after Tokyo Tapes and is a great guitarist, performer and always seems to love it.
I guess it depends on what context you are judging them on and what your aesthetic preferences are.. Theyre very talented in their own right, (even including Michael Schenker in the discussion too). But if you are going to weigh in the element of success and the common man’s ability to recognize their works without musical ability or knowledge, it would have to be Mathias Jabs hands down. Their commercial success undoubtedly exploded once Mathias became an official member of the Scorpions. So many highly talented guitarists that can dazzle you with their acuity and raw talent, but there is a special kind of talent in writing rhythmic riffs and creating songs that become part of ppl’s lives
