These two are telepathic when it comes to constructing the riffs and melodies . They deserve more acclaim than they get . Masters of their art.

Met Rudy Schenker when I used to wait on tables at the Westin Hotel in Calgary back in 1988. Nicest, friendliest guy ever. I probably drove him nuts with my incessant fan questioning when he was trying to eat but he was most kind. I'll always remember that.

I saw them in corpus christi and it was such a badd ass concert so me and 3 other friends drove to houston and saw them again the following week, thanks for the memories of my youth,scorpions fucking rule
These are the gods of heavy metal! I am quite certain that these gentlemen are going to Valhalla! They are the greatest heavy metal band ever in my opinion!

Crap I'm getting a guitar lesson from my two favorite rock stars..... At the same time. Saw the Scorpions in 82.
Same here brother, I saw them on The Monsters of Rock in Dallas with Dokken, Van Halen & Metallica and the Scorpions blew them all away IMHO, not in 82, but you get the point.

Cool zebra-stripe paint job on Matthias's guitar! Rudolf laid down some awesome, classic riffs on those Scorpions albums. He's a very underrated metal rhythm guitarist. Aspiring guitarists should study his riffs to seriously improve their rhythm playing.

Are you not aware that Matthias plays acoustic all the time on stage and personally? He is a very good blues guitarist as well.
Ofcorse he was practicing first, when he was starting the playing guitar at 14 years old so

yeah he sure is underrated but i still think michaels playing is just outstanding, but rudolf is more successful (and i'm sure theres a reason why ;)) so pls dn'T get me wrong :D
Sound quality does entirely blow.Blackout is such a killer album though.Probably best Scorps LP.
Rudolph is the older brother.He paid Michael to learn songs for him.
Even though this is the scorpions this recording still sounds like a 15.00 pair of computer speakers!

oh please-even Rudolf knows who is better player and will freely say so- Michael...one may say Rudy is the better composing and arraigning but by no means a better player and it's exactly why he plays rhythm...also you might note that Michael taught Rudy to play and Michael was only 14 when he was teaching his 6 year old brother Rudy
Well I was lucky enough to see MSG and Scorpions and both brothers...Michael and Rudolf are equally legendary guitarists in the own ranks! And I think it's ridiculous to compare them! 🙄
