I agree. I played expecting just to kill some time and probably get bored quickly but I had quite a lot of fun with it. One of the better games in recent years.
Order 1886 great game. Graphics are insane but there is not really gameplay mechanics, thats the reason there won’t be sequel. Story was good. Vampyr also worth to try. I liked it
Nice list I;m a sucker for linear single player games Uncharted series is my all time favorite, God of War, and Last of Us are up there too. There are a couple in here I'll definitely check out, Thanks!
Spec Ops:The Line is a 1/1. Visually the game is a paradise! And the ONLY game I've ever played I could NOT stop thinking about almost a week after completion.

How is Vampyr, linear? Hell, most of these arent exactly "linear" cause they present metroidvania elements like GOW for ex, with some backtracking and exploration. Vampyr, however, is very semi-open world

Brilliant trip of a game. Loved every part of it
I hated it, the setting that never changes and the faceless symbiote type enemies got old fast

Vampyr was amazing. It took me by surprise
Vampyr is a straight up hidden gem and definitely worth playing.
I heard a lot of meh about it.. should I get vampyr?😊
Finished Evil West! It was over the top and a lot of fun. Definitely recommend it.
Great list, here are some games I would also recommend.
Prey 2006
Doom 2016
Quake 4
Alan Wake
Metro series
Shadows of The Damned
Half-Life
Bulletstorm
I like you list man of culture
you are trying too hard kid
Great video! Very well written and narrated, and perfect with the small snippets of gameplay at the end of each game's discussion. :)
It's always nice to see Firewatch on the list.

Uncharted is a great series hopefully they make a new one at some point but will be weird without drake although I enjoyed lost legacy

I'll add Days Gone to the list as well. Such an amazing open world action survival like game

Max Payne 2 is the best thrid person action I have ever played. It's classic.

Jedi fallen order, control, and God of war are linear but also inspired by metroidvanias with open ended exploration

Farcry 3 should've been on the list bro
