Thank you so much for watching, I hope you all liked it! What other games would you maybe like me to discuss?

This was such a cool analysis!!! I love how you interpolated the themes from the present characters
Looking forward to the next video :3

Man, lemme just get it out of the way: I'm praying this gets more views, it deserves as many as possible. Using the instrumental of Ultimate Showdown AND One Beer as bgm is wild, doesn't even feel out of place. Props for that alone.
But as for the actual video, I've never seen anything quite like it. Overviewing a full 3d Mario level, basically asking "but why?" then answering that in your own way with a pinch of dev history mixed in, all in a digestable 18 minutes. You've certainly got something here.
(A bit of a tangent, but I find these deep dives and interpretations of shit like Mario 64 levels so neat and intriguing. Can't say I enjoy the game itself unfortunately, but this is a way for me to experience something I'd have little affiliation with otherwise, and I'm thankful for it.)
And from an outsider's perspective, the bridge just seems like the devs thought of a funny way to do a hidden teleporter. Like "well the bridge is broken, but it still works, gets you from one end to the other :)". Idk, just feels like a goofy little detail lol.
Biggie Bird my goat fr, just learned his name today and I would die for him.

I will say that this this series is going to be the epitome of "over-analysis" (its why I cited Game Theory as an inspiration for this mini-series), but I am approaching each episode earnestly.
Like I said in the video, the primary goal really is to spark new discussions about this game. Its why I took on the Jeff the Killer retrospective, and its also why I chose to take on this project (although this series is going to have a few thematic through-lines that'll pay off once the WDW video eventually comes out, this entire series is going to build up to that video).

Fun video! I'd love to see more like this, or perhaps a video on Ocarina of Time? Either way, your observations and editing is very chill.

Ocarina and Majora would be pretty fun to cover in the future. I may do that on the side leading up to the final video in this series since I'm gonna pull parallels between Ocarina's Water Temple and Wet Dry World.

Awesome video dude! Extremely well researched. Looking forward to your Jolly Roger Bay analysis! The theme of separation honestly makes a ton of sense. You could make the argument that the slide kind of evokes that feeling, at least at an atmospheric level (the dark void contrast to the light blue slide).
Also, I loved the Windows96 soundtrack at 2:52! Great choice!
