I just think that if Mario Kart 9 is going to be a launch title, they wouldn't have released all the Booster Course, with NEW courses too like Yoshi's Island and the Bathroom one. I think at most Holiday 2025, but more like 2026 imo. If I was going to release new Mario Kart in 2024, I would want consumer to be STARVING for Mario Kart content since 2022. Especially not having people on the team working on tons of new courses for a game that already sold gangbusters and probably will not move much more units in 2023 and 2024.

When bro in the article says "there maybe 1 game shown on screen", that alone makes me question the legitimacy of this because why would Nintendo just have a showcase that's literally JUST on the hardware itself and not tease any games by showing seconds of them on the Switch 2 screen like Metroid or the next 3D Mario? Do you all realize how kind of bad the first NX/Switch trailer would've been if they didn't have a bunch of games being teased like more of BotW, Splatoon, MK 8, and 3D Mario?
