Between 16 November 1698 and 26 January 1699, the town of Karlovci was the site of a congress that ended the hostilities between the Ottoman Empire and the Holy League, a coalition of various European powers including Habsburg Monarchy, Poland, Venice and Russia. The congress produced the Treaty of Karlowitz. It was the first time a round table was used in international politics.
After this peace treaty, the town was considered part of the Habsburg Monarchy and was included in its Military Frontier.

It is much better during summer totally different vibs. Not just Belgrade and Novi Sad there're many places and smaller towns in Serbia worth visiting but when it gets green from April-July
Honestly it’s too hot in the summer. It’s better in September/October and everything is still green in those months, same goes for April and May

Belgrade is not only about realy good cheap healthy food, architecture, nature and history, Belgrade is great city for young people, full of events, madness, crowd and energy. Your story is exactly like ours. My fiance and I have been traveling for 3 years and then the pandemic, so we've had to go to places we really didn't have on our list - Albania, Montenegro, and soon Serbia. I really love Montenegro and I'm glad we came. We think we'll stay in Belgrade for three months.
Very nice video Mr.Dany, my recommendation when the covid passes visit the Niš city, there is a Nisville Jazz Festival every summer, the atmosphere is amazing, in the center of the fortress is held that international festival, it is quite an old historic city, Niš is the city of Constantine the Great, the first Christian emperor, Constantine stopped persecution of Christians. In Serbia feel at home mr. Dany 🙂

If we talk about natural beauties, we should see Stara Planina during the summer, we should try the taste of fruit that was not bought in the supermarket but picked from the branch, we should feel the smells of the forest ... Of course, we should feel the hospitality and warmth of the locals. But you two are young, you have a lot of time ahead of you.

At the end of the day, the place is just a place. The nature is everywhere beautiful, even in mighty deserts, you can see how dunes are migrating for example etc. But, what matters is a vibe, people and how you feel with those. For someone, this is going to be a great space and great experience, for someone not so, maybe. But at the end of the day, for sure an unique perspective, not too often on our planet. Take a chance, and visit it. On a side it is quite affordable, here you can find nice good, either healthy or not that much healthy. Nice atmosphere at bars, pubs, cafes etc. Or not so nice, sometimes, depends what you searching for, but for sure there will be a place for you. That fits your expectations and tastes. You will find some of the nicest people ever, and if you're unlucky enough, maybe some of the rudest people ever. You will see some of the architectural details that will take your breath, and maybe some of them will be the ugliest things you ever saw. You got my point so far, I'm sure. It is a country full of contrasts, and if you find your own way to puzzle it right, the great experience is just in front of you, or you can made it wrong, and left disappointed. But, that's the life, that's the beauty, exploring the places and find yourself somewhere over there. And I would like to thank this guys, for putting an effort to create a video about my country, representing Serbia from his perspective. I've enjoyed watching this video, really great overview, maybe even prettier than things really are. I wish him luck with his work, at least he deserves support for the huge effort he's putting on. :))

Nicely rounded up. Neither Serbia nor Belgrade have anything spectacular about them - in terms of architecture, old and modern structures, art, nature, people - but, again, in many ways they are surprising and amazing and are sure to win you over in almost all of those.

Thank you for coming to Serbia and makins such a nice video. i hope you will come again once life goes back to normal (Covid issues) because Serbia is most famous with nice and friendly people which you need more in your videos. I recommend you for a next time to get the agreement with local persons (youtubers maybe) to take you for non-commercial visit. Why driving to Uvac and go back on a same day? Why not visiting some of the mountains close by and sleeping over? Anyway, than you one more time and wish you all the best.

As a Serb, i liked your video-I see you did your best in 1 month--but but do not get me wrong (its not your mistake you did it yourself without help--I don't mean paid help--help let's say someone who would help you from the heart where the money is not so important) --I have to be honest-don't be mad at me-but this is only 10% of the state beauties / and here I mean nature in most cases and history--but I raise my thumbs at what you did--continue and a big greeting
