I have this exact same setup, outback motortek X frame, OS plates for quick change, and os22 Packs on my crf Rally. Man it’s the best money can buy imo and it’s worth it. Kriega is bomb proof
The Rade garage rack is very narrow, low and positioned further forward. It also has atachement points for Kriega integrated. I think it is the best available option. I use it with Kriega OS22+OS32. 20 cm/8 inch narrower than the KTM aluminum cases. On top I have a 58 l Givi aluminium case.
Nice saddlebags! I also prefer square saddlebags for their easy use, but wanted the skinniest set up possible this time, so went with the Reckless 80. i think they work well on my 790R. I noticed your hand guards seem mounted awfully high. It may just be the camera angle, but it doesn't look like they will protect your levers. Enjoy the 790! I think it is awesome. Cheers
I have an awful habit of keeping my levers at a very steep angle. Just feels comfortable for some reason. I do like these bags, the panniers are a bit wide.. absolutely love this bike! Cheers
Now I'm motivated to get the 790 set up! Will send email and hope to tag along on ride. Darn Rocky Mountain is sold out of the rack/bag set up I wanted. Will research other luggage set ups and all the goodies to fill em'up. Thanks for leading the charge away from the city madness
Did you hesitate in between the Kriega and Backcountry Mosko moto panniers ? PS : if you put the MSR fuel system inside your bags it's going to smell gasoline ! 🤢
I did consider Mosko, being familiar with their quality. Randall has that setup and I'll get him to give us his thoughts on the next moto camp outing. Didn't think about the fuel bottle, good point! Haha
@@TheOffRoadAdventureChannel ahah i had to put my MSR with all my tools and lub chain etc in a all pannier as I didn't want my clothes or sleeping gears to smell gasoline. That's what I like about mosko moto is that you can put things on the outside. About the outback motortek racks I very like what they do put why did they do a symetric rack it's so large 🤦♂️ I was thinking of buying it and then see a welder to adjust it as I wanted. Have a nice trip !! I'm getting my 790R in 2 months can't wait ahah
Spot on mate Kreigers the go I have the US20 and as you say it's a great storage system but the rack is soooo wide as you say putting a roto pack maybe for water or maybe fuel depending on how carried away I get 🤔 great review cheers
I like the setup, although I would have gone for an asymmetrical solution with a 22 liters on the right and a 32 liters on the left side. Would have ended up with the same overall width but ten liters more capacity.
I also have the Mosko Moto Reckless 80 and I am going to be picking up the 790 Adventure soon. Just curious if you think that the Reckless would fit better with a pannier rack installed? I am looking at the KTM version and am wondering if pannier racks would keep the reckless off the plastics
Its just sad we dont get this in india .. and if you get it ordered through a international site like rezilla you have to pay 48% extra when it reaches you for customs.
I don't bring extra clothes, just shoes and a light jacket. I wear a 3L water backpack with snacks and others odds and ends. Food and additional H2o will be in a small cooler added for the moto camp adventures.

It's a RAM ball handlebar mount, short arm, to a RAM mount garmin cradle. All ordered on Amazon. Hope that helps!
