FB are a disgrace. You try to report scammers, and their menus don't include Scam as an option, probably because if they ban them they will loose half their members. If you chose another option, they come back and say it doesn't go against their rules. Hope you get it sorted Richard, and do please keep us updated.
Facebook is rubbish these days. I only keep it so family and friends I don’t see regularly know I’m still alive. Every now and again I’ll scroll a few posts but most are page suggestions or memes I’ve seen thousands of times. I normally get bored before seeing anything of interest. Hope you get it sorted soon, although you’re probably better off getting rid of it.

We can perhaps help by reporting Facebook posts. Facebook wont inform the hijacker of Richards page of your details, won't tell them anyone \ who has reported them, so you remain safe. If everyone reports posts Facebook will get inundated and that might force them into action? 1) Click the three dots "..." top right of these fake posts. 2) "Report post" last on list. 3) "Something else" last of list again. 4) "Fraud or scam" second on list. That's it. No need to type anything, just four clicks.
Detecting John Bradley has had this happen and it’s destroying his life, they were selling detectors and keeping the money and not sending the metal detectors and hid knows what else. He’s contacted Facebook and they do nothing and it’s really getting him down. Hope you get it sorted
Make sure to contact your bank and get all your stuff changed. New cards are essential. If you set up a new Facebook account you can easily get your subscribers to change over by making a TH-cam announcement.
I wonder if you do lose control of the FB whether all your followers could report the page (that hacked account), making FB ban the account. A bit of a desperate measure but it would stop the hacker making money... but let us know

Beefy409, Scott , A Beefeater at the Tower of London suffered it a couple of years ago. Don't know how Scot managed to sort stuff out . Sky Tours LiveStream with Marc Dantonio , suffered this a few weeks ago. He traced it to India. Facebook said they couldn't do anything about it. Marc lost ten years of Astronomy Photos he had banked. They stole the bleeping lot ! 😥😪
If you can't get anywhere with Facebook support I'd speak to a Solicitor and get them to contact legal. These people are posting on their (FB's) platform and passing off as you (which is a crime) so once Facebook are aware of this (which is why you contact legal as they can't deny it) then they will be a party to it unless it acts in reasonable time and manner to resolve the issue. Also I would report it to the police as Fraud and theft which is what it is.

I posted on your original hack to talk to paul hibbert who had his channel hacked last year. I can't remember if his facebook was hacked but it might be worth reaching out if you haven't already.
Noticed that as well - but the thing is, EVERY interaction shows up in metrics and, presumably, is basically giving these people EXACTLY what they want - exposure and growing their reach. Which is why I have so far resisted the urge to "like" (or rather angry-face) or comment on any of the posts past the ones FF already said were the last he did. Don't want to give whoever is doing this the satisfaction.

Facebook can close and delete the hacked account for you ~ they say they cannot regain control and return control, to you. You can make a new account and you will only show up as your username. From my own personal experience, all my followers were directed to my new page without fuss. < ergo this is a several years ago now! :)

I'd try and close the account and start again, eventually i would think the old account would fizzle out.......i'm not a tech guy but my laptop went weird the other day and i had to close it all down and then reset my laptop as if it was a brand new one i had bought .......it's working fine now

I know how you feel my phone got hacked you are in more trouble than the early settlers they take everything you are doing the right thing by letting people know what happened because they will get into every friend and use your pictures
