Antidunes -"Sand Waves" Moving Up Stream

Rain water run-off from a beach storm drain, between lifeguard towers 12 and 14, on the north side of the pier, creates a fast, moving stream to the ocean; where you can observe "sand waves" moving up stream. These moving waves are also called
"antidunes".
