- Beautiful Glowing Bioluminescent Waves is back again in Southern California. The Glowing crashing waves can be seen at several beaches in Southern California usually between the hours of 10pm and 4am. This Bioluminescent waves was seen in Newport Beach on January 4, 2024 from 11:30pm to 1am.

when algae gets disturbed by waves it becomes bioluminescence
