NEAT! I'll have my first canopy flight course this season. After you initiated the dive with the fronts, do you steer with the rears or is it just a matter of toggles after that?
hi, wht altitude u start to swoop? And wht altitude u start to brake?it looks really good in two years of jumps, I got only 50 jumps and I eant to learn to swoop too
you dont swoop at a certain altitude, its all determining with your eyes and a sight picture. if you only have 50 jumps, id recommend you hold off on swooping until you are more experienced. all in all, you should refer to a trusted coach jumper with these type of questions.
Sick progression man. what alt do you start your 270's at? i know the crossfire has a somewhat short recovery arc compared to other elliptical swooping canopies but why does it look like you're starting that turn so low. To be clear, i'm not criticizing or questioning your abilities. im not a swooper so i don't know much at all about it. I'm just wondering if the turn has to start somewhat low because of the short recovery arc or it's just the camera making it look lower than it is.
This video is sick man! How many jumps before you started coaching for swooping? I have 114 jumps and I know I’m no where near ready but looks like a ton a fun!
just had an accident after 400 jumps on 84 jfx2 came in too low ... hit the pond luckily with water ... better be too high always than one time too low

Theres no toggles until i want to stop at the end or to save myself if im low. Best ask a coach for the proper techniques

Cheers Matthew. I waited a long time. I started learning at 800 jumps as i was just focusing on freefall until then.

For sure. Rest up bud!
Any landings where you ate a grass sandwich? 🐮
Asking because a land like a dead walrus...
Haha. No. If its too fast to run then slide it in. All of these clips i was waiting for ACL surgery so i mainly slid them in. Running again now though
Awesome landings and progression bro!
How high are you starting your 270th?
Thanks. Its around 700ft for me.
And that's still on your 119 @1.65?
