Judson met you at aviator two years ago . We met you didn’t train me . Anyway was looking into backcountry ppg when I saw Tucker video , I would like to finish my training with Tucker or your self via backcountry ppg if possible I DK just looking for best life for me . Thanks for any help .❤🙏🏻❤️
Met you, sir, at Bad Apples 2022. Was so cool to meet you, Minyard, and all my inspirations that drove me to start flying. Shame they kicked Minyard out that year though. He put on one hell of a badass foot drag and acro show.
15:1418:46 Love to see a student abort a landing and come around instead of sticking out a low turn, great coaching from Tucker, great decision making from the student. Respect for including that.
Idk if I'm the average viewer on this channel being that I could never have the balls to do what this young man just did, but hearing the giddy joy that he experienced upon success was so beautiful. This country offers the most amazing opportunities for all of us and I'm so happy to see yall take advantage. Bravo guys!!
No, Not a chance! LOL! When I saw my first video of you doing PPG back in 2017 I said to myself 'That's it"!!! That's what I've been dreaming! I immediately got training and have been flying for seven years now! Thanks man! Keep doing your thing and I will keep following and supporting!
Bro you are right on the money with your life track. Moving to Arizona was the perfect "next step" for you. I used to live there and have few negative things to say about it. Okay ya, gets hot but being in Las Vegas so long I'm used to it. I firmly believe opportunities are going to cascade your way. Hell ya, start the school. You would have no issues getting students, most likely a waiting list and getting as busy as you want. And no problem recruiting other instructors. You are also centrally located within a half day's drive to SO many cool flying and jumping places. And much more mild winters. I look forward watching many new videos. At some point our paths will probably cross again flying places so I look forward to hearing your stories. Until then, keep the blue side up!
Yes ,sign me up!!! I am a retired veteran, who has been following you now for 13 years give or take a day or two and inspired me to go buy a wing and started kitting last spring and went to Paragliding school that fall and now i"m hooked.I think you would make an awesome instructor .
Tucker, I'm 41 and live in Arizona. I've been having dreams of flying a paramotor since i first started watching your videos about 3 years ago. I'm not in a financial position to take on paranororing as a full time recreational activity, but I am finding myself with some additional freedom in my life and would honestly consider trying out some lessons from you (or maybe just a tandem flight) if you offered it! (Though, to be honest, actually flying solo is a pretty intimidating though!!) Welcome to Arizona! And, who knows, maybe our paths will cross in the near future 😎👍
Found myself laugh-crying hearing him on the radio on his first flight! (I remember my first, and that was so so good to hear!) This might just be the best video you've ever published; for the best of reasons. Bravo for this one dude! "..and airplane noises!"
OMG … it hurts me to say, but this may be my fav video to date🤙🏼 (there are so many favs😂) I love the fact that Jake (an accomplished BASE jumper) said he was scared at about 100ft. He wasn’t used to being under canopy and going up😂
Your timing for this couldn't be more perfect for me! I am in the process of finding a school, as well as a motor and a used A or B wing to get started on. I've flown several tandem flights on a trike within the last two years, with the real goal of adding foot-launch paramotoring to my list of activities in 2024. To learn from you would be a dream and an honor! I'm in Southern California and available to schedule with you at almost anytime. You will never find a more willing, able, or grateful student than "yours truly!" I'm an action addict and adrenaline junkie, and an all-around sports enthusiast at a high level. I snorkel and scuba dive, rode a 750cc "rice rocket," rode a 450cc motocross dirt racer, rollerskate (quads), was a life guard, played football, was a Wrestler in HS, and the list goes on! Since first seeing your videos nearly 3 years ago now, I've become absolutely obsessed with learning to fly. Please reach out to me so we can get this on our calendars! Can't wait to hear from you!!
Chris 65 from California...heck yeah... I'm so close to pulling the pin, only thing holding me back was finding the right instructor and you are it...I joked once to my wife about trying to talk you into teaching me... now this is it. I'd love to be considered..😊 Thanks Chris
Yes 100 percent I loved the video. I was thinking how lucky this guy is learning from the GOAT. I wish he had a go pro on for his first flight. The cinematography was beautiful. Do more videos like this please
Tucker, I've been a huge fan of your channel for a long time, and as a kitesurfer, hydrofoiler, and former paraglider, I'm really interested in learning paramotoring from you. This summer would be the perfect time to take the next step! 😌
This was a great video! Watching people learn to fly is so enjoyable. I never thought about it before, but it was a lot of fun watching your friend accomplish so much in such a short period of time.
I would sign up in a minute! I live in NY and have no problem getting time off and traveling for this bucket list checkoff. I've followed you on TH-cam for a few years now and could not think of a better teacher! I have tandem skydived, ride motorcycles in season and am looking for my next adventure!
It's so funny to see people express the same emotions I had after my first flight. Great video and a big congratulations! Tucker, you're a natural teacher!
Tucker, I've been watching your content for a few years now. I have a buddy who lives in Florida that has been paramotoring for a few years now. We are both manned pilots and expert rc pilots. I moved across the country right before he started his paramotor journey. If I had stayed I'm sure that we would be flying paramotors together as well. I would say that you have been a positive and a driving force in growing the paramotor hobby. The natural progression, especially if you like to teach would be to start instructing. Either way please keep making content.
Tucker you got me hooked I ordered my efi, all in with a background in speed-flying I have been waiting for the tech in the engine. So no excuses where is the LZ in AZ.?
A few things here. The first thing is congratulations Jake! That was awesome! The second thing, two hours with Tucker is better than two days with Kurt Fister lol 😂 The third thing, is, it’s about time you’re doing a quasi school! You’re gonna be awesome at it! Good luck With getting into the training of the sport!
I appreciate you recognizing right at the top (and at 19:30) that this is not "proper training" and that there are certifications for paramotor instructors. It comes off as honest and also lays a good foundation for any viewers to know that it's valid to check certifications, whatever you may think of the available certifications. Respect.
Wow. 2 hour training. This looks so easy anyone can do it! Thanks Tucker for increasing awareness about how simple and consequence free this sport can be! It's exaclty what this sport needs!!!!
Yeah, it is not simple and consequence free. Tucker did a good job pointing that out, especially at the end. The student here has sister sport experience, this is atypical for most students and this student had the awareness and Tucker gave good coaching to have the student making good decisions about landing go arounds, etc. Is this sport approachable and can be done safely? Absolutely! But is it simple and consequence free? Absolutely not.
With an experienced co-instructor like you mentioned, totally (though def not this spring, yay money. At least AZ is closer than FL) Would be cool for people to have a chance to hang out with you and learn to fly, plus a great way to improve your own skill at something is to try and teach it to someone else.
Man,,, you make it look so easy.. I seen you up on a levey neer waterloo, IL with a few others. Wanted to stop, but just got off work and my ride/driver did not much care. I really enjoy your talent and would like to learn this at 43 years of age. funny, I watched your video when you left the Flight Express Hanger at Cahokia, IL for the air show under the arch. I worked in that hanger. pretty cool, small world. Thanks for the ambition!)
I would totally take lessons from you, however I just need a decent amount saved up to buy the proper equipment, so it might take me until next summer at the least. I've been watching you for over 3 years and me and my wife are interested in getting started! Good job with all that you do!
After watching you for years I can say you've given me a lot of insight in how to fly a paramotor. I would love to learn with you and feel like I would pick it up rather quickly! I however am in Missouri, and a ways from Arizona 😞but I would gladly make the trip!
Been watching you for a year and a half since the first time i went sky diving and have been hooked on the idea of flying at some point The class could just be push i need to get going!
What a great video. I would love to try it at some point but i would definitely be nervous, especially now I'm 61 but still in good shape and strong. Thank you.
Since I first discovered paramotoring by way of your channel showing up in my youtube feed, I've wanted to do it. Still saving up for lessons and gear, but if there were a Tucker Gott academy I could take my lessons at when the time comes you better believe I'd sign up 😁
Really good video Tucker been watching ya vids for yrs now and this one has made me pull the trigger now booking in lessons then will look into my own rig, i am in Australia but definitely a good next step to train people your good at what you do and im sure its your calling
I would love to master this flight style with you. You seem like a solid mentor in this realm. I grew up flying with my father, he is private pilot, just flys his airplanes for fun and have logged large swaths of hours copiloting with him but this totally matches my adventure excursion based personality. You've helped restoke my inner fire in a new way brother. I honestly am astonished that I haven't mastered this yet. If you needed a devoted student to hone in on the mastery of teaching this, lets rock and roll! ~ Michael ~
I would definitely take lessons from you. I would drive to wherever I had to go. I bought gear already and I have been researching the best teacher that resonates with me. To learn from the person who got me into the sport would be awesome.
Interesting you did this video. I am a GA pilot and have thought about learning to fly paramotors. The dynamics of a flexible foil, power plant management and physical requirements are totally different but many principles of flight are similar. Still, its a great open air flight adventure, love to become one with the wing. :)
I'd love to see more first-time flights! Honestly, of all the para motoring content I've seen, you seem to know your sh!t better than most. So, hell yeah... you having a school would be a great step!
You could come teach in Fairfield, Conn you would have a lot of students, I guarantee that many Brazilians would want to participate in the classes... I would really like to learn to fly!!!
Rad! I’m sure Jeff Fletcher or Nik Rasheta would be happy to swoop in as an assistant instructor out in San Tan Valley if you decide to train more folks.
Dude Tucker .... I will go buy a wing and motor now.. you are an amazing teacher as well as a pilot that i would feel 💯 percent safe with you ... this was amazing content as well.. keep em coming man.. i think you found your calling in this journey of life bro
Did you say you're in AZ now? What a coincidence! I was actually shopping around to get training for some time this year. Couldn't decide on whether to stay local near jersey/pa, or go to florida like you suggested, and my third choice was to find a school in az and crash at my friends place instead of an airbnb while I'm learning. Arizona, new jersey, I'd sign up with ya wherever you are for sure!
I am in Az I am 60 yo went through aviator in Florida two years ago at your advice . Thank you . I have 17 flights I own a wing no motor would like to finish my training . And acquire. Confidence and skills .
Arizona-based paraglider pilot here. I’d absolutely sign up for a Tucker Gott Training Course! I’m looking to transition over from PG to PPG and you’ve got me looking at the SP140 now too. 😂 Welcome to Arizona! 🌵 PS. My instructor and fellow PG buddies own and operate a couple of paraglider tow rigs here in AZ too. Could be a good way to get your newer students into the basics of launching and landing prior to throwing on a motor. HMU if you want to join up for some towing and get some launches in too. ✌🏼
Beautiful work. I just bought a Vittorazi Evo 100 and APCO Thrust 3 for cheap. I will be using this and many other videos as self training. If I survive, you’ll hear about it.. or not haha.
Got a trainer chute from you about a year ago, was done with that. Had parachuted multiple times 10 years ago, but that was blah. Not hing against parachuting, but also not going to do over adventurous maneuverers either.
Yes, I would seriously try to be one of the first students, and if scheduling does not permit, I do hope you do start a school. I am a private pilot with an instrument rating, I am 53 and I run 12 to 15 miles per week, so I think I could handle it. I used to sail boats, was part of safety and rescue in a race environment, so very safety conscious. The 2 week in one shot requirement of other places has been the constraint for me.
I am sure your going to have more than enough people interested in RBPFS featuring the legendary Tucker Gott. I look at the superstitions everyday, bucket list to paramotor the mountain range.
From someone who has never flown a paramotor, I think you would make an excellent instructor. If I were to pursue paramotoring, I think I would have to have someone take me up in a trike just to see if I would panic or enjoy the hell out of it. I'm afraid of heights, but I love flying in planes, big and small. A pilot let me take the controls for about 15 minutes on a flight and now I'm seriously thinking of getting my Sport License. Flying is such a thrill.
Hell yeah bro!! a year and 10 months before I retire from law enforcement and this is first thing on my bucket list..... Jealous of all the guys flying up and down the beach here, have made friends w/a couple of them and cant wait to get up in the air
So Tucker, I've commented a few times, and just got your socks and beanies in the mail. I live in central Ohio and yesterday we got 4 inches of snow. I noticed that you taught your friend to fly in about 2 hours. Well, I got trained by Capt K. And I believe that your training was more complete than his. But we did watch the Jeff goins risk and reward video. And I got unlimited free training so that's nice. Isn't it awesome to be flying much more than in Jersey
Hi Tucker, may I add a few comments, because you have been in the Sport/Activity for so long and are so skilled, you probably forget some basics. 1. Hands, get students to use gloves, I find Paintballers gloves, no fingers padded backs and reinforced palms, to be good. 2. Good footwear, protection for rolled ankles. 3. Protect knees, may look a bit precious, but knee pads while learning.
I am in Az I am 60 yo went through aviator in Florida two years ago at your advice . Thank you . I have 17 flights I own a wing no motor would like to finish my training . And acquire. Conference and skills .
Start the school, I'll be your first customer! I live in Arizona, and have been following you from the beginning. I am a veteran and have weather system and UAV pilot experience from the military. Looking forward to getting certified!
Judson, as he spent a season as an instructor. You are good with people. Teaching unknown people can be quite difficult. Talk to Judson and aviator, they will help you heaps. Forward is your direction, with the biscuits.
I live in Mesa. Yes, I would LOVE to volunteer to learn from you. A couple of questions, though: Would you provide the paramotor for the training? What would the approximate cost be for the training? And would the training be on the weekend or weekdays? I would seriously like to have you train me. I am starting AFF in a couple of weeks and this would be awesome as paramotoring is something I've always wanted to do but didn't know how to get started, especially locally here in Mesa. I am also interested in BASE jumping once I get 200 jumps.
I think opening your own flight school would be a great idea. I don't know how many paramotor schools would be out in Mesa/Phoenix but I believe you would have a large number of students and who knows, Maybe there are other paramotorists that have the same skills you do that would like to teach along with you
Hi guys, wow that looks fantastic. Unfortunately I could never do it only got one leg I’d have to hop to it LOL up the good work. Absolutely love this video
@TuckerGott You ABSOLUTELY + DEFINITELY... certainly Must have a Very Super Clear disclaimer, with multiple initialed areas plus ‘wet (blue ink) Signatures after a multiple choice ‘Test’ as part of “ground school”. also, What do You use for COMMUNICATION strategy? DO You use a ‘Multiple frequency’ programable type (Amateur /‘Ham’) Radio? A few easy to get radio are easily available (like Baofeng or TiD-H3 Radio, a more expensive hand held isn’t required if you buy/ get a recent radio in 2024) especially since MOST ‘air traffic’ {Airport/flight} control towers typically use AIR BANDs (just search for local frequency choice/options: like VHF 118.625 yet differ by country: UK uses a relay to UHF 455.550 others relay to Fm bands. ...Because Who wants to be BUZZed by ‘Fixed wing’ jet aircraft? plus avoiding flying over any sort of “unknown” restricted air spaced... just seems like a great idea!
Bro.! I think you would be an awesome instructor. Been watching all your videos and I definitely want to get into this the right way. I also heard you say, you’re in Arizona now. I’m out here by Holbrook airport and actually saw a trike paramotor glider over my property. I was so excited. Where are you in AZ.?
I would absolutely LOOOOVE to come fly with you! Only problem being a single dad of 4 its a bit cost prohibitive! Best of luck man! Love watching your videos and dreaming of flying!
Dam it!! I would have definitely gone to your flight school if it was in NJ!! I hope you do open a school out there. You are a very likable and would be a great instructor!! Do it!!!
I am just wanting to get started. What would you start with. I am 44 yr. Old and weigh 250 lb. so I don’t want anything to do tricks but simply to enjoy and relax
Would you sign up to learn to fly with me? 🤔
of course
Hell yea
I might probably would
Ya
Is that a serious question??
Always a pleasure kicking it with you, and thank you for giving me my first taste of powered flight :)
I want to fly been having dreams about it
10/10 this dude is a legendary instructor. Changed my life :)
Mad props to you Judson🤙🏼 You’ve come so far in your journey and I absolutely love your videos!! Keep it up and I wish you all the success 💯
looks like your going to have a new job soon.

Its trickling down.

Yes 100 percent I loved the video. I was thinking how lucky this guy is learning from the GOAT. I wish he had a go pro on for his first flight. The cinematography was beautiful. Do more videos like this please

Wow. 2 hour training. This looks so easy anyone can do it! Thanks Tucker for increasing awareness about how simple and consequence free this sport can be! It's exaclty what this sport needs!!!!

Going to wait to watch this but just commenting that seeing a 20+ min video on the main channel makes me so happy. Love these longer videos
You do a GREAT job as a teacher/trainer. Very nice video as allways ..
Jake is a super talent: it looked easy, that's the way!
Your courses will be interesting content. Looking foreward to advanced courses also.
What a great video. I would love to try it at some point but i would definitely be nervous, especially now I'm 61 but still in good shape and strong. Thank you.

Watched this good ability and reality check yet taking flight instruction to heart & mind; I'm impressed. Good job all.
Thanx for this exciting training session. Peace & love
Experiences awesome.
Friends like that, priceless
Arizona-based paraglider pilot here. I’d absolutely sign up for a Tucker Gott Training Course! I’m looking to transition over from PG to PPG and you’ve got me looking at the SP140 now too. 😂
Welcome to Arizona! 🌵
PS. My instructor and fellow PG buddies own and operate a couple of paraglider tow rigs here in AZ too. Could be a good way to get your newer students into the basics of launching and landing prior to throwing on a motor. HMU if you want to join up for some towing and get some launches in too. ✌🏼
Well done boys, I can't wait to feel that first feeling of flight!! Safe Skies 🪂🌅
That looked like an amazing first, second and third flights, with his first wingtip touch, AAA+👍🙂
Congratulations Jake👍🙂
Yes i would love to learn from you Tucker I’ve been watching you for at least 5 years or more
I know this is 9 months old, but yes for sure. Just now looking into training. Love your vids- Cheers!
Thanks for the lessons. Just ordered my first para motor from Alibaba. Should be starting my first flight in 3 weeks. Wish me luck!
Beautiful work. I just bought a Vittorazi Evo 100 and APCO Thrust 3 for cheap. I will be using this and many other videos as self training. If I survive, you’ll hear about it.. or not haha.
Please don't. Find an instructor.
Got a trainer chute from you about a year ago, was done with that. Had parachuted multiple times 10 years ago, but that was blah. Not hing against parachuting, but also not going to do over adventurous maneuverers either.
YES!!!! IM DOWN FOR SOME RISKY BISCUITS TRAINING. ❤❤❤
Amazing! It would be an amazing experience learning from you.
Great idea. Would definitely be on board to learn paramotoring. Some years back I flew my own Cessna 172. My wife may join also.
Looked like an epic flight with absolutely gorgeous scenery. Hollywood pays big money for color like that. Well done.
A go-around is a whole new concept for him and he took it! Good job.
Yes. I’m at Oshkosh right now and falling in love with this. I’d fly with you.
This deserves way more recognition and views
Hell, yeah. Sounds like the experience of a lifetime. Cant wait so see what you Gott. 😄
Yes I would! I to have recently move to Arizona outside of Phoenix near the Superstition Mountains. In California I flew paragliders.
I am sure your going to have more than enough people interested in RBPFS featuring the legendary Tucker Gott. I look at the superstitions everyday, bucket list to paramotor the mountain range.
Great teacher! the dude has to control his mouth and emotions, this is being shared with nice people. His overcondidence is inmature.
Yo tucker I will fly to AZ right now if you teach me like this! 😅
Do it it would be well worth your time! Very fun to watch.
Damn, that says a lot about Capt K’s training. 😂 It’s wonderful out here, I do not miss the snow.
@@TuckerGott That's why it's free and unlimited
Dude whatever you're using now for your helmet cam loos amazing!
I don't know how many paramotor schools would be out in Mesa/Phoenix but I believe you would have a large number of students and who knows, Maybe there are other paramotorists that have the same skills you do that would like to teach along with you
I'd sign up for your class, Tucker! Let's go!!
Respect for putting the kids first, you'll get there and they'll appreciate you for waiting for the right time
Most definitely would, south Mississippi guy wanting to do this so bad. I'm close to a few private air ports. Been a dream for a log time.
Absolutely Tucker, I would love to learn from you - would fly in from Denmark bringing skydiving experience and 7000 commercial pilot hours
Such an awesome video! Love it!
