  • It's crazy how hard it is to get good footage on this route. I've watched many videos and everyone has the same grainy look. anyways, enjoy!!
    Picacho State Park California BDR Section 1
    It's not as hard as some people say, speed will be your best friend on a big bike,...😀
    This section of the California BRD is very challenging, clutch control is very important.

    Well done. That section chewed me up and spat me out.

      I don't think any video could actually show the gnarliness of that trail.. I think you would make it on the 390 for sure!!

      Definitely a clutch smoker on big bikes, gotta keep your speed up and get in a good rhythm.

    So is this big bike and heavy bags or lack of sand experience? That looked like a hell of a workout.

    • @ADV_Agenda
      @ADV_Agenda  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      If I was just on the bike without the luggage I would have been able to rip through there no problem, but having that offset weight on the rear end made it a hell of a workout

    • @humzilla707
      @humzilla707 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@ADV_Agenda ah ok that makes sense. I can blast through sand gravel on a 450 no problem but was worried about big bikes loaded down. Definitely be planning on a lighter build then (890 with mosko rackless 80).

    • @ADV_Agenda
      @ADV_Agenda  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@humzilla707 going reckless will save you 15 lb!!

      @@ADV_Agenda and I think bringing the bags closer to the bike will make a big difference. I ride solo a lot so trying to make a stable setup is important to me.

    I have to get out there and ride that section, do you think a 1200 gs will make it?

    • @ADV_Agenda
      @ADV_Agenda  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you're confident in your sand skills you can absolutely make it, I would take breaks on a big bike it's going to work you hard.

    "I just ran into a tree because Loren stopped"....LOL...Like Biden says "come on man"...fun video that doesn't pay justice to really how deep that gravel is.
