I'm sorry but 'Clean eating ruined my health' ??? Eating clean is not the issue here! That is incredibly misleading and unhelpful. Extremism is unhealthy, not eating clean. I appreciate her story and glad she has come to these realisations. We can all become quite obsessive and push ourselves for the wrong reasons. Good health is all about balance and maintaining homeostasis.
Let's be real, she's on TV speaking out about this not as an act of public service but because she wants to sell her book. There were also some vegan influencers who were peddling the vegan lifestyle, and later on it turned out that they were secretly eating meat. Their vegan lifestyle had made them unhealthy and they ended up losing their menstrual cycle and suffering from nutritional deficiencies (i.e. Rawvana Mendoza). Be careful trusting influencers, they care more about their bank account then they do about the people they are "influencing".
You’ve hit the nail on the head, since watching what I eat in a day videos - I felt that fasting was something I wanted to try and I did.. it worked, but it worked too well and before I knew it, I looked in the mirror and seen a skeleton looking back, since eating more and taking my medicine that I didn’t want to take, I’m starting to feel normal again, long may it continue and I really hope that everyone gets to this point as well 💖 onwards and upwards to anyone who is struggling 🙏🏼
She is 100 percent right - ive been in that horrible trap of being exhausted, sore & permanently hungry. Social media will become a huge problem with causing people severe depression, they will feel demoralised at not being able to reach these unrealistic goals.
So she was projecting an unhealthy lifestyle and made money from it and now she is making money from a book about health. Glad she is managing to make money out of it and not just doing it for nothing 🙄
@@kjh4496 She is trying to make money off of setting the record straight. Its valid to ask why she couldn't do this for free without trying to profit from it. It would have been a much more sincere and authentic gesture, considering she made a lot of money off of promoting an unhealthy lifestyle.
There’s such an obsession with weight and exercise and this lady seems to be unapologetic for her behaviour and advice in the past and I’m certain she made plenty of money from her channel and subscribers. To be honest, she’s not a dietician or medical expert and now she’s making more money from her book admitting she was wrong! Completely unethical.
I know! She made money from not knowing what she was doing (but peddling that she did), and now is making money from a book talking about HOW she didn't know what she was doing, but apparently does now? So she's peddling another lifestyle to sell.
I’m shocked by the comments on this thread. This woman is trying to bring awareness to a side of the diet culture that is unhealthy. Why is everyone being so hateful and unkind towards her.
Why do people have to follow other people like sheep, I’ve done it myself, but not now, I’ve come off all social media and I feel so much better for it. She isn’t really saying much about how it ruined her health, like lasting health effects, etc. it’s crazy and I wouldn’t be following her or buying her book if I was one of her followers/sheep I would be looking at myself, my own body, waking up and taking back control of my own life and listening to what I need, it’s just bonkers
Health, fitness and nutrition I absolutely love. I have never ever had an eating disorder or had negative ramifications from the exercise I do thankfully, but my heart goes out to anyone who has been there. A healthy lifestyle should never damage your health.
The pure hatred of some people in these comments. Do you seriously think that when Alice was struggling with her relationship with food and exercise and potentially (not saying she did or didn’t as I don’t know if she has ever disclosed this) had an eating disorder, that she was intentionally misleading others to put them in the same situation? I doubt any of you know the denial that comes with this behaviour, she wouldn’t have known this was the case for years. Alice now very openly talks about healthy exercise and good relationships with food, and she recently has been crying her eyes out on her instagram about how bad she feels about her past. I pray none of you ever make anyone ever feel bad for their weight or looks!
This is ridiculous, why can’t she and you all say instead “the pressure of posting my life on social media as a health influencer made me go over the age and ended up ruining my health?”
What does she mean by clean eating? Was she raw vegan? She does not really tell us this. If she was a raw vegan then she did not eat enough. This is a common mistake people make on this diet. You need to fill your belly many times a day.
This all seems a bit fake to me i personally believe in do your research before you try anything i don't have Instagram or Tik Tok im no fitness influencer but i do have 25 years experience in bodybuilding and fitness i have dieted down for two bodybuilding shows and prepped myself for both heck i could write a book i now do 16 hour fast have been doing it for about two months now i have days off some times from it but i did a month's worth of research before i decided to do it.
So she was over excersizing and under eating. She misled thousands of people on her channel whilst making a lot of money from it. Now you're helping her promote her book to make more money! This is not someone young people should be looking to for inspiration.
This is misleading. After reading between the really fine lines I have discovered a woman that got obessed and over exercised and over dieted, when the more than average group of peaple are just looking to lose a few lbs. Grab a few bags of crisps as you read "the book".
How many people did she affect? Excusing it as ‘Mistakes’ while making money & putting followers in hospital is disgusting and now selling a book ? Disgraceful
It sounds like she became obsessed and now is speaking out because she has a book to sell. I don’t know her but was she speaking out wanting to educate people BEFORE she wrote a book🤔
What is the point of the guest….because the presenters tell more about the person than the person does themselves…people often live for likes and followers because it makes people feel good about themselves and they feel relevant.
It should be “Overexercising and undereating ruined my health.”
Yep.
Yes
Agreed. I think lack of knowledge on bio chemistry or human biology can be dangerous too.

Exactly
It’s This Morning. Television’s equivalent of the Daily Express.
Absolutely!!! ❤
Lol.... 😂 I can only imagine what healthy cleaning means to her. Sad
Agreed, people get obsessed because of their own ego and narcissism then don't know when to stop
Just goes to show that people who become “influencers” don’t always know what they’re talking about!

came to say the same, she's literally milking it for all its worth
People don't care about being healthy, they just want to look good rather than feeling good
Being an influencer ruined her health
So, she takes no real responsibility for misleading her followers. Yes indeed. Poor Heath!!!
I dont get this...
I absolutely agree I suffered in the same way.. Too much of anything is too much.. Thank you for speaking out and educating us

People need to make money to pay for things. It costs money to print books.

100%. This is rather ridiculous
I hear what she's saying, over exercising can be damaging, but clean eating didn't ruin anything, let's be honest.
Lol. 😂right
I don't think she was saying clean eating is a problem more that she wasn't eating enough x

OTHOREXIA is what it is called as it's a type of eating disorder , I should know as I've suffered from severe Anorexia for the past 35 years now .
People are brutal on here. I liked her and her message. She didn't title the segment. All power to her
Nothing more than a common scammer. Poor HEATH indeed!
I appreciate that she’s grown but she doesn’t really mention the people she may have ‘influenced’ along the way.
Disgusting that people can say ‘oops’after affecting so many people

She literally influenced vulnerable people!
@@withoutoriginbut she was clearly vulnerable and a victim of her own regime herself.

Because it can lead to eating disorders like anorexia.

I thought that was Lindsay Lohan before I clicked on the video 😂
I did too!

Ah she’s releasing her new book … nothing further needed 😅

Health because of dieting and eating disorders.
Gurllll, the term influencer was already a thing wayyyyyyy before 2014;; at least 2009. Calm down!
Eating healthy requires a good knowledge. If you know a little about biology, then it's bad if you try dieting.
in ten years she realizes she was wrong again, and publishes a new book.
The best thing for your body is sleep, it’s that simple
She’s made a lot of money out of her lifestyles....🤔
Kudos
Wrong title:clean eating is good!eating too few and overexersize is thr probl
One should not overdo anything, including leading a healthier lifestyle
she was an obsessed perfectionist...
I can’t get how her health was ruined? What illness are they talking about? She looks super good

Who ruined Heath?
Terrible, misleading title.
The bulk tummy and super thinness doesn't look good, it really couldn't look good. I don't get why you guys say it does, lol.
Is she just trying to get back into the public domain ???
What is "heath" ?
When does she say this?
"It ruined my heath". People who were early to see the video saw it. Now they have corrected it to 'Health'
this is nothing new. not at all

Extreme of anything is not healthy.
Healthiness wellness and only after sexyness
Orthorexia...
