- The Merkur Progress 500 safety razor is a fully adjustable two piece razor that exudes class and elegance. You can quickly and easily adjust the blade gap by turning the dial at the base, with 6 settings to suit your shave. Larger blade gaps may be suitable for shaving longer hair, where as a daily shave can be achieved on a gentle blade setting.
This version of the Merkur Progress has a shorter handle allowing freedom of movement in facial and body areas. The short ridge lined handle it is still reasonably heavy, adding balance and grip during your wet shave.

Trust me, shaving soap is better than cream.
And best indian soap is Trigodon. ₹500 for one soap. And 1 soap will last 1 full year easily.

Does the knob take 2 complete turns ? So the max no of aggression can be from 1-10 ? In first 5 turns the plate does not move much. is it true with you also?
