    Deluxe model comes with three oak tree seeds you can plant at the right angle. Wait 20 years and go set up your tent.

    good luck with that setup ...... may only take 5 hours to get it level to than find out that one en still lowers more then the others as it stretches more due to a longer strap ... I am trying to get my brother in law to buy one as he believes the concept might work. I will bring him a lot of coffee the next morning as he´ll definitely need it after a horrible nights sleep. Hammocks are for one person. It´s not insulated against the cold air from under either.

    • @TentsileLtd
      @TentsileLtd  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      We're sorry to hear you had a bit of trouble setting up. The straps are all adjustable so you'll be able to make them all the sam length. There is an underfloor strap so that the tent can be separate into different sleeping berth so it's comfy for more than one person. If you're camping in colder weather you can use a good down sleeping bag, or a SkyPad Camping Mat for extra insulation. It's also possible to put a Trillium hammock underneath the tent to create an extra layer of insulation at night and an extra hang out spot in the day :D.

    • @TentsileLtd
      @TentsileLtd  6 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Hi Robert, Thanks for your comment. It's not actually as difficult as it sounds, as the trees don't have to be perfectly placed. As long as the three points are all less than 90° from each other, you will be able to find an equilibrium point with your tent. How do you put these things up high above ground? The rattles does not have enough to go around a tree... So you always end op with the rattle at the tent side!?
    Plz explain

    • @TentsileLtd
      @TentsileLtd  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are the ratchets that are on small straps with loops that you put through all the D-rings at each corner of the tent. Then 3 tree straps that are 6m in length so can definitely fit around an average sized tree. Recommended set up height is 4ft off the ground so you can easily hop in and out. Hope this answers your questions!

    • @ferrarigirl666

      Tentsile Ltd not really, how do you put that 20ft up in the air?

    • @TentsileLtd
      @TentsileLtd  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Set ups that higher than the recommended 4ft have been created by people with climbing experience and equipment. Not one to try at home unless you're an expert. Our Tree Tents are pretty amazing but they don't give you the ability to climb 20ft up a tree without previous experience and knowledge. ;)

    What is the difference between the model Stingray 3 person and the Safari 3 person?

    • @TentsileLtd
      @TentsileLtd  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      UV protection, weight and durability. Safari is meant for longer set ups and rentals.

    Probably freeze to death with all the cold air under your back, I've tried sleeping in a hammock and you need some insulation on the outside so you don't lose body heat.

    You guys could probably print "tail" on the end so you know the sides immediately.

      It does have the logo on the front - which is almost the same thing, but backwards...

    I don't get it. I'd have my tent up before you even had the straps 'round the trees. Am I missing something? What's the point of this?

  • @SolarizeYourLife

    A nice little Lazer level would help you....

    • @TentsileLtd
      @TentsileLtd  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Or a smart phone which also has a built-in Level. iPhones have this, for example, next to compass.

    It must be like sleeping on a trampoline while your two tent mates are bouncing around.

    • @TentsileLtd
      @TentsileLtd  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as it's tensioned properly that shouldn't be a problem. The length of straps and ratchets mean that it's very sturdy.

    How perfectly aligned do the trees need to be

    • @TentsileLtd
      @TentsileLtd  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You get about 7 degrees margin of tolerance, but the tree can be further away if the nearest tree doesn't have a good angle. Also, with spare ratchet, you can using this to make a floating anchor point and pull a strap into the correct angle by using a side tree. It is a nice and simple ( and fun ) solution!

    • @kiloART
      @kiloART 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      you should make a cold temp solution with extensions on the outer "tent" so it makes a closed air pocket underneath when attached together. Or perhaps you already have a solution for that?... ofcourse the condensation had to come out somewhere... why not near the three anchor points..

    What if it falls

    • @TentsileLtd
      @TentsileLtd  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      We recommend a height of set up. This is more to do with user error, as our tents do not break. Never have done. 55,000 sold to date.
