  • The tentsile connect a 2 person suspended tent. In my review, I’ll talk about the pros and cons of this tent. The tentsile is like a wanna-be tent that wants to be a hammock! I’ll also present some of the specs and tell you the best time to use this beast.
This particular model is discontinued on the tentsile website, but it’s still available at many outdoor stores. I also believe that the pros and cons that I’m telling apply to different models offered by Tentsile.
This video is not monetized or sponsored...I’m really telling you what II think after 3 years of using the tensile connect.

if you add two heavy duty long ratchet straps you could set up in more places. run the add-in strap from two trees and then connect one of the built in straps to the proper location on it and do the same for the other side. all you need is enough trees, they don't have to be in the perfect location now.

Lady who never set up a tent in her life set it up alone fairly easily. It will get even easier every time.

10mins up no problem. I will backpack with it but not solo. I have enough strength and endurance to hike deep with it but between it clothes, food, water filter and my jet boil it would be to heavy for anything more than 2-3 days solo

Great review and video. Thanks for the giving the rundown on when you would use it. What do you think of the flight plus version, could that be a good canoe camp/portage version?

I did not try to most recent of the flight plus, but I witness a friend of mine using the older version and did not like it that much. But I believe that they fixe some of the major issues

    Hey :)
Thx for that cool review !
Was wondering, how do you guys deal with making the tent lightproof ? Is the rain protection enough ? Should it be better to choose the dark rainproof to minimise the light in ?
    Thx in advance !

I travelled in the north west territories during summer (23h of sun light) and the only thing that work for me is a sleeping mask.

C’est un excellent prix! J’assume que c’est le model Sting ray. Je te conseille de la monté avec quelqu’un la première fois...c’est comme déménager un sofa, c’est compliqué sa ce faite juste tellement mieux a deux :)

    Great review and well presented.
I'm searching for a 'tree tent' which will accommodate myself and my partner for a 30 day walking trip. It's becoming difficult to find something suitable!

Sadly I think you would be better served with two hammock. Tentsile has a much liter option, a friend of mine has it, but two people in there was not confortable..

Really good video! I have a single person tensile tent, check out the Aerial A1 by Opeongo its a sweet tent

Thanks! I never tried the Aerial A1, but I love the fact that it only needs two trees. Although, I truly appreciate how rigid the Tentsile Connect floor is. It's just not the same beast; one is 20lb, the other is 5.2, haha. But I would love to try the Aerial A1! :)
