I’d honestly like to hear your thoughts on the windows being barred up at the counting booths in the 2020 election. To me at the least anyone should agree that’s shady and not okay to do. Threatening a person's life is not part of free speech and is against the law. Complaining about how the elections are run or how an elected official voted or not liking a particular law is free speech.

Having been overseas to North Korea, Iraq... It scares me with the percentage of citizens who believe these conspiracies/propaganda in this country. We need serious reform/education in this country especially social media and its role in siloing/objective bias/algorithms.

When I first ran for a local, unpaid elected position, studying the County Charter for preservation by vote, I walked from house to house and gained signatures in person. Our Commission was successful and we preserved our County Charter by popular vote when most others in Massachusetts were abolished. That was 30 years ago. I would NEVER try that today if I had 2 young and vulnerable kids. Way too dangerous in 2022. However, somebody's gotta keep doing it. Never let the bastards grind you down. HAVE COURAGE!

In Arizona they recently banned trans kids in school sports. At my sons high school there was one child affected by this. He said she broke down in tears at school and all her team mates huddled around her. They never had a problem with her. Just the governor, apparently. She still goes to all the games and hangs out with the team... but shes not allowed to play. So literally this stupid law hurt ONE KID out of thousands at my sons school. And it broke his heart seeing a fellow student lose something she loved so much simply because the "grown ups" are scared of what they dont understand.
That's a nice story I do have to ask how old was that child the reason I ask Is because what no one communicates is that this country for the past years have been sexualizing children so a young child being trans is not normal it's just not when we tell children one thing and they get confused it causes a lot of trauma I don't agree with a young child being anything than they're gender let them decide what they are because we are damaging the future of this country they get on the right and call them strongman but if there is world war 3 you will need strong man I wish that the Biden administration didnt encourage parents to make a gender decision for a child

This is a brilliant series! Enjoying the long in depth videos and learning loads. As a brit I'm as fascinated as i am worried with the political polarization going on in our so called democratic countries. I think the opprobrium is essential, the more we scrutinize and call out this skullduggery the better, although its fair to assume just critique will be inefficient and more directed, concentrated and tangible methods of engagement would be needed.

I told a guy who was being rude that if he kept messing with me that I would mess him up, and from that, I was arrested, so free speech is one thing, but you cannot threaten someone. Well, in America obviously you can. I live in Canada where laws are enforced for the most part. Ignorance shouldn't get you a pass. Just because you were duped by your party, and then broke the law, you still broke the law, and should be held accountable, or what's the point of having laws.

From a Canadian point of view and perspective, allowing federates (States, in US, Provinces in Canada) to conduct federal elections (to the US Congress and Presidency or to the House of Commons in Canada-which does not have an elected Head of State) is absolutely crazy. In Canada, federal elections are entirely conducted by the federal electoral office, not by provinces (which have their own electoral authorities for conducting their own, provincial elections). What the hell happened?
Oh, well. At least y’all can amend your US Constitution. We really can’t in Canada because the amending formula allows provinces to take the opportunity to introduce unrelated, self-interested (instead of in the interest of the whole federation) issues which would ultimately reject the ostensible amendment-and it might only take a single province to scuttle the amendment: in the Meech Lake attempt to amend the Canadian Constitution, it took only one Member of the otherwise unanimous Manitoba Legislative Assembly to scuttle the amendment (as it happened, the Premier of the Province of Newfoundland joined in by refusing to endorse the amendment -but it was dead at that point, anyhow).
But at least we don’t have to amend how federal elections are conducted. Like y’all really, really need to do.

You need a minimum of a high school diploma and a bachelors degree before you can enroll in CRT!!! So how could little kids process that information?! I focus more on my township elections (let's hope I get re-elected to the council for my forced snow removal policy), municipal, county, and state reps.
