I have a crazy "What if Scenario" in this scenario 9 SEC teams go 10-2 in the regular season. Alabama 10-2 with losses to LSU and Tennessee, Georgia 10-2 with losses to Alabama and Ole Miss, Texas goes 10-2 with losses to Georgia and OU, Ole Miss goes 10-2 with losses to Kentucky and OU, Mizzou goes 10-2 with losses to OU and Bam, LSU goes 10-2 with losses to Ole Miss and OU, Tennessee goes 10-2 with losses to Georgia and Kentucky, OU goes 10-2 with losses to Alabama and Tennessee, and Kentucky goes 10-2 with losses to Texas and Georgia. who gets the tie breaker since that isn't finalized to go t the conference championship game, and then who of this group gets into the playoff. This is the nightmare scenario for the rest of CFB. This obviously requires all of these teams to have won every non-con game.

Regarding OU’s OL do you realize that who we will probably start has more starters starting more games than the majority of the sec. One of the issues is they haven’t played together but we have a couple of all conference guys we brought in, freshman all American, our starter at LT has started multiple games, our RT is a question as far as who will start there but this isn’t going to be an OL without experience it’s just an OL that hasn’t played together. The idea that the OL will be bad is just not the right narrative to be pushing. The floor would be middle of the pack in the sec and the ceiling in the top 3. It’s Oklahoma and there is a reason we have a higher blue chip ratio than Texas and that’s because we have great players. BV has recruited much better across the board than LR ever did and he only did it on one side of the ball. Again the point I’m trying to make is everyone acts like these are 5 freshman that have never played a down of football and the question is how bad they will be when in reality the question is how good will they be. There is a difference but the lack of knowledge people have regarding the Oklahoma program is mind boggling . OU not only has the higher blue chip ratio than Texas, meaning they have a better roster with just as much if not more depth especially when you compare who they are bringing back in defense.
OU is 11-4 against Texas in the last 15 years. OU has 14 Big 12 championships to Texas’s 4. Through their first two years BV has more wins than Sark did in his first 2 years. It took sark over a decade at 2 bluebloods as a HC to break into double digits. BV did it in his second year and OH this is playing the exact same schedule year in and year out since they played everyone in the conference. They are 1-1 against each other and UT only won 1 more freaking game than OU did AND LOST TO OU.
So I’m just amazed how OU is being overlooked while Texas is getting talked about as a top 3 team.

100% agree on the college playoff being exclusionary. Let's use Michigan and OSU the past 3 years. While OSU still got in 2 years ago, The Game would not have had the stakes going into it. i eel blessed we got to see those games with the absolute highest stakes imaginable before the expanded playoff. Don't get me wroy- I'm excited for the exp. Playoff, but I'll miss seeing two undefeated juggernauts battling for all the marbles at the end of the season in a non playoff game.

Crazier things have happened in college football, so it’s possible just maybe not likely. Coach Venables seems to have the team going the right way, and they’ve got a lot of talent on the roster. Whether it happens or not though, it will be fun to watch ! Welcome to the SEC Sooners, glad y’all are here !!

Oklahomas gaurds and center are elite. Only question is their 6 6”tackles and the talent is there- arnold is mobile with plenty of weapons id argue top 3 wr corps in the nation to go with it. 3 dudes on the OL are 6-6 320+ and the 2 that arent are their best ones. They will bully teams in the run game too

The 4 team playoff would’ve been ideal had they actually gotten the teams right. 2014 FSU, 2015 MSU, 2018 and 2020 ND, 2021 Cincy and 2022 TCU didn’t belong anywhere near any sort of national championship discussion. Now these teams get in, but so will the teams who would’ve been robbed like 2018 UGA

Florida State was 29-o at that point Just coming off a national championship season and was undefeated in the regular season. The game versus Oregon would have been a lot different if delvin Cook had not fumbled the ball four times. Six turnovers in all get out of here with that mess.
FSU had a horrible game but they certainly deserve to be in. In fact they deserve to be higher seed.

Personally, I think a "Cinderella" making it into the playoffs would mean much more like a Colorado going on a huge run and squeaking in at the 12th spot. That's how I would view a Cinderella team...certainly not those just out of the normal bubble...
