I love NYC, however when you grow up in NYC, and leave coming back all you keep thinking about is why did I leave NYC? if you wrote a list the list would go on for days. lol I know from others who can afford it living in two great cities NYC and Paris, and they say going home makes them feel excited and going back to Paris is like falling in love again and again. merci 😍

Very true! I also feel like I never had the chance to have an adult life there so there's a bit of mourning and "what could life have looked like?" 😅

NYC has such a hold on me in terms of wanting to go and live but it's so expensive...

That is my dilemma! NYC is lovely and charming but it is SOOOOOOO pricey. Actually, the US in general now seems exorbitantly expensive but NYC takes the cake. Paris just seems more affordable for the time being.
