I'm obsessed with watching grocery shopping and what I eat in a day videos from around the world. I haven't gotten into France yet so thanks for opening that door. This was very entertaining.
I am equally obsessed! It is the first thing I do when I go to a new place. Grocery stores tell you so much about the culture and environment of a place. I even gawk at the grocery stores in my hometown when I am back in the states. Also, my gift giving hack is that I often get stuff at local grocery stores. There are lots of great finds!
@@itsthequeenfatima I completely agree- seeing how and what people shop for is so telling. Great idea on the gift shopping- Aldi definitely has gift-worthy things in their special buys aisle.
Agreed!! @@Natnat994
Just came upon your channel Fatima and loving your posts even though I'm 65. I love that you posted this in Lidl. One of the things I most enjoy when visiting a new place is checking out the grocery stores, so this was so much fun for me.
I love Lidl. Their viennoiseries are also surprisingly good!
And it's an affordable way to try your way through French patisserie without breaking the bank and feeling bad if you stumble upon something that you bought but don't like in the end
wow your lidl looks so peaceful... the one i go to is so cramped and always busy no matter the time! like u basically have to push people out of the way lol. i love their international themed weeks though so i keep coming back
I am used to a more crowded Lidl actually! I just got lucky that day. 😅
Also, their themed weeks are amazing. The Greek one is my favorite!
@@itsthequeenfatima Italian week is my fave 😌 the cocktail cherries... the aperitif sodas...
Good idea! I will look out for the aperitif sodas! (I am always on the lookout for chinotto or something similar) @@sasp9856
ok I have to say I like that store Lidl, but I only been in the location in Harlem NYC. I do love their pastries. However its one of those stores where you need to have a shopping list or you will buy a lot of stuff you didn't plan to buy lol, plus you have to check the food to make sure of the expiration dates. Also their prices can be a little more expensive then other stores too,. Like yourself I need my vegetable's and some of their bags of vegetables can be very small for the amount of money you spend on them. But all in all its a good store for different food choices. Merci
I was stoked when I saw the Lidl in Harlem for the first time in 2021. It was very different but still nice!
Love your content! You should do videos speaking french too!
there are plenty on my channel : )
You can also buy peanut, grill it then blend. Voila Peanut Butteurrrrr
Yes but that is work lol 😅😅😅😅
Do you have LIDL in the US or is it just a europe thing ?
They have popped up in the US in the last 3 years or so!!! I have been hearing people talk about how they love the affordable pricing.
Potimaron? Is that squash in USA? Brst shopping is done when there is a sale.
Correct! It is a type of squash!
Madame please return to the grocery to finish shopping. There is no good grocery shopping in Europe without a baguette, la baguette, European baguette, Oh baguettes
baguette purists will tell you you should NEVER buy bread at the supermarket haha
agreed! I should have should the part where I went to a boulangerie afterwards on my way home!
True! But when it is 9 pm, the supermarket boulangerie is a lifesaver!!!!
