Btw if anyone misses the cup holder - some are snapped underneath the bottom of the seat.

Where do you find a cup holder
Everyone is asking about the latch system but it's only included on boosters as a convince.
You can use latch only until the combined weight of the child and seat is 65 lbs. Then you're supposed to anchor the seat using the seat belt.
The latch on booster is only meant to keep them in place so you don't have to buckle the seat belt when there's no kid in it.
The seat belt is what keeps the kid and seat secure.

This is the exact same seat as the Graco Affix/latch ..
I bought one of each because the Affix was sold out... They are made and the padding , even color and design are identical.
The affix is about 15-20$ cheaper...

Thank you. I thought I was doing something wrong because the seat in my car leaves the head part way too straight up it will be super uncomfortable. But now I know it's not just me.
It's all vehicles designed, I think it's a major flaw in vehicle design.

Maybe it's just me but I hate how much this car seat can move, I watched this video just to see if thats truly how it is. I wish there was a strap on the top to keep it from going forward.
The great thing is we jumped to the booster part pretty quick, but the upper portion does go back on for long road trips as it does provide better support for when they fall asleep.

Hi there.....I need help in removing the head rest support of the car seat...I am not talking anything abt the vehicle head rest!! I have manual but not understansing this part. I tried to remove head rest support but just could not do it.
I noticed that you had a protector underneath the car seat to help prevent damage to the seat of the vehicle. Did that come with the truck or did you purchase that online?
Purchased online, from where I do not recall.
That’s not safe. Anything that doesn’t come with the car seat shouldn’t be used.
@@franceslopez8242 it's just a seat protector it doesn't affect the car seat whatsoever.... Once the booster is anchored into the clips it isnt going anywhere.. Common sense.

Just double checking... the actual seat is NOT buckled in to the car or attached to the car at all right?? The seatbelt only goes over the child?
No at 6:50 I mention you would use the LATCH system and latch the base down into the mounting points. Also the back strap on the F150 if I recall is fabric and you mount that one up top.

If you have Latch system you just buckle it in and put the strap over the top to the back or top wherever that attachment point is

My trucks latch system isn’t the bar within the seat. It’s actually behind the seat on the back wall and the latches aren’t long enough to reach behind the seat so it makes this booster seat useless.
Is the back part supposed to be able to wiggle back and forth bc mine does. Idk if that is safe or should the back part be stiff and unable to wiggle back and forth?

- Mine did that until I pulled it forward one more time & it snapped right into place. I will say that having it “wiggle” back & forth gave a little more room for my son so it wasn’t standing straight up, but I will have to see how comfortable it is for him this week .
There is a slide out holder on the other side
Even with my kid in the seat and the seat belt on. The car seat still moves around a lot

Yeah you can just use the seatbelt. The instructions will show you how.

I don't want to say because I don't recall the age range from baby seat to car seat to booster seat, the packages will tell you that information along with weight limits and height limits etc.

If you mean the one that goes over the seat there is a strap you hook it too

Yes this car seat has the LATCH system and yes my Truck has the LATCH system, most new vehicles have it.
What if your car don’t have to hook the latch ?

That's the belt positioning clip, only needed if the seat belt doesn't not lay across their shoulder properly (RedZone depicted in manual)

Huh the F150 has latch I even say I would prefer to use latch off tot he side vs center...LOL But per the car seat you don't have to have LATCH. Heck I rode on the center console of a Trans Am back in the early 80's,,,I survived so did many kids, some didn't. Nothing is 100% in life.

What did you need? I put the tabs in and bent it upwards and it snaps together...LOL It was pretty straight forward.

Make sure you know what your talking about before giving advice on safety.... some seats actually REQUIRE the headrest to be in place and not removed...
If the seat is leaning too far forward its not comfortable for the child. It's nice to have the option in all vehicles to remove headrest as I have found at least with OUR vehicles the car seats do not fit well at all, it's not good to have a void behind the seat, that would be a point that would bow in upon impact or the child's weight. Much safer to have the back of the seat flat with the vehicle seat. You are a commenter like I am a reviewer, neither of us are experts and I never played one, just pointing out my observations so take that old tampon out and stop acting like you are some sort of expert here.
