I love how The Stuff can apparently be stored in a fridge, a freezer, and at room temperature. So… are there different kinds of The Stuff? Or does no one know how to preserve it?
Probably the latter, since it’s a living entity that came from the earth and is edible from that state. Although the different kinds of Stuff also would make sense. Like maybe the marshmallow fluff is for some people, the frozen yogurt Stuff for others… I’m starting to think about the state of matter too much in regards to the Stuff.

Omg. The older brother is played by Brian Bloom. Who went on to play Dusty on As the World Turns. And a very special episode of HBO's OZ.😎 The main kid is his real life younger brother Scott Bloom.

No way!!! THE STUFF IS AWESOME!! The cinematography is hilarious and great. I love the colour scheme and the use of the colour pink... I think it's a pretty relevant film.

I think if they did like a “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” thing and found out it was too late it would have been interesting. More realistic to the inevitable reality that thirty year later we’re still consumed by consumption
This is one of those movies that while BAD has a special place in my heart because the image of stuff bursting out of Garrit Morris's face scared the ever loving shit out of me as a child.
I always thought Moe was a really interesting protagonist, given the genre and era. He's savvy, well-dressed, and (unusually for a white guy with a southern accent in a horror movie) intelligent and ethical. He's basically the guy you WANT out there fighting The Stuff. I wish more horror movies gave us such nuanced leads, I get tired of rooting for idiots

I kinda like the weird creepiness of Jason's family being obsessed and trying to force Jason into eating the stuff. Reminds me of that Next Gen episode with the addictive video game.

The time capsule element is one of the biggest reasons I love 80s movies. Hair, clothes, room designs, toys, cereal, etc. :D

Hard to believe Michael Moriarty was in this. He was in some really top notch movies, like Bang The Drum Slowly, The Last Detail, and Pale Rider.
He was canceled over some bad L&O set behavior. Yelled at crew, made crude passes at women. This was mid 1990s.
