Hey guys, TheSupremeRk9s here! I am finally back in America & decided that the first video I made would be a highly requested one!! Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are two of the most iconic pokemon games ever created, and as expected -- the shiny hunts you can do in them are INSANE!! You guys need to try these amazing shiny targets, and I hope after this video you all will get back into hunting in Generation 4!

Gen 4 seems to really like me when it comes to random Shinies. In Soul Silver, I randomly found a Shiny Magnemite in the Safari Zone. In Platinum, I found a random Shiny Roselia on the route with the mansion. In Pearl, I randomly found a Shiny Buneary in Eterna Forest while with Cheryl. I did catch all of them, and I used the Magnemite and Buneary on my teams in those games.

Important Info!
If you plan to hunt the Pokémon accessible via the void glitch, note that, shiny or not, they will NOT pass Pokébank and transfer to Gen 6 and 7.
That is because the Locations were accessed through glitching and not through the legitimate event items, so subsequently the Pokémon caught using the glitch will not have the event flag necessary to mark them as legitimate.
If you use an AR to cheat the Member Card or Oak's Letter into your game (not Azure Flute though because that was never released), Darkrai and Shaymin will pass through Pokebank just fine since now the event flag marking them as legit has been activated, shiny or not.
If you level up Darkrai to level 50 and make it forget Faint Attack and catch it on Diamond or trade to it of caught on Pearl, then it will pass through Pokebank.
Same thing for Arceus but you have to get it to level 100
Shaymin will not pass through no matter what you do. Possibly because of the in game gracidea flower events
You have to make it forget Feint Attack? Doesn't Bank consider the possibility that someone could catch a Darkrai in Platinum, trade it to D/P, teach it Feint Attack there, and then transfer it up?
Nope, I guess Pokebank only goes off the moveset a pokemon can have from the game where it was first available. The same reason why you can't transfer the pokemon hatched from the odd egg on the Crystal VC unless you make them forget Dizzy Punch. Because it goes off of their gen 3 move set and they can't learn it there
So there is ZERO way a Azure Flute Arceus could make it through PokéBank?
Actually, that one's because the Japanese version doesn't make the Odd Egg available, and they failed to realize that international versions do make it available. It still sucks, though, because I refuse to transfer my Shiny Igglybuff until they fix this- I want her to keep Dizzy Punch, I want to try making a set that works with it somehow.

I honestly just love how excited you are when talking about these hunts! If I wasn't stuck hunting this Tepig in White, I would definitely be dusting off my old brick for some of these.

I’d like to see one for HGSS.
The Johto starters are so easy to shiny hunt for. Just save in front of the machine and press the A button (or tap the check button that’s located in the bottom right hand corner of the touch screen) . Then soft reset if it isn’t shiny.
Some games require you to check the summary screen. If I remember correctly, that’s not the case in HGSS. I believe the image of the starter Pokémon on the top screen will have the shiny colour if it is shiny. If that’s the case, you know when any of the starters are shiny. So if you wish, you can check all three starter Pokémon. If you do check all three, it could end up being a phase hunt.
9:30 you have to talk to 30 indeed. But some ninja dude one a route gives you a odd key stone, there is one hidden behind the small water at your home town and you can find them digging for treasure.
RIP the Spiritomb hunt for me, I have two DS systems but only one Diamond cartridge, the other one had it on an R4 and exactly that system no longer works. guess that's what I get for cheating. can't use my Pearl cartridge either, that one was my brother's and he had borrowed it from a friend who wanted it back when we moved house.
I found an old key stone digging for treasures but the game won't let me use it it the "tower", is it normal ? 😅

For the honey tree hunt, there is a website you can use to calculate two of the four munchlax trees using your TID since 2 of the trees are based on the secret ID and the other two are based on TID

and sad that i won't be able to utilize this video because a couple years ago i sold all my gen4 games except heartgold (i keep that one to be able to transfer my pokemons from my gen3 games to my lastest games and HG is my favorite gen4 game)

I also overlooked the cave in my first playtrough, but I found it when I replayed the game when I was older.

My first ever shiny hunt was for Giratina in Platinum a little over a year ago. I started playing with Pokémon Blue so many years ago and lost interest until a few years ago and then because of content creators like you. I actually never saw your Giratina video until after I got mine but it was well worth it. Thank you for all of your videos and I am extremely looking forward to doing some of these hunts!

Been playing my first ever gen 4 playthrough this year with plat, and got super lucky and found my munchlax tree on only my 4th check today! Really excited to hunt the honey tree munchlax for my first ever DPPt hunt!
That was so cool! I'm just doing my first playthrough ever of Pearl and it's been my luckiest game EVER! I encountered a shiny Starly on the second route and added it to my team! :D Then, only yesterday, I encountered a shiny Pikachu... but KOed it with a critical hit T_T I was so mad!

Yeah!!! I love DP they were the first pokemon games I played and I still love them. Even so much to the point that I'm hunting Manaphy on them RN. Really hope it's a quick hunt so that I can go and do some of these amazing hunts. Especially the double hunts and dongle hunts look like fun.
