    Hi Sid, thank you for taking the time to clean the roof and block paving at my home. I just wanted to let everyone know that if they were considering having a quote to not hesitate, I was surprised at how reasonable your prices were. I would also like to say how lovely everyone was and to say Elias has such lovely manners and if I was his mom I’d have been very proud of him. Sorry you tripped over on the drive, hope you didn’t hurt yourself. These three men are grafters, they worked nonstop all day, vlog shows only a fraction of their hard work. Thank you again 😊

    I can't stress enough how important keeping things organized and clean is. This with maintenance always extends the life of the equipment. A place for everything and everything in its place. The bonus is no hunting for equipment or parts plus it makes the days work easier. Fifteen minutes at the end of everyday putting things back where they belong and cleaning up is vital. It was good you learned about that screw and how to correct that concern/problem. We all learn something new everyday. Nice to see you take time out to recharge and return to lots of work ahead.

    Thank you for showing when things go wrong. So often we just see the fun and perfect parts of jobs and life. So it's refreshing to see when things go wrong and how to troubleshoot/respond to them. Also I'm really glad you took time off! The company I work for only lets us roll over a certain amount of days of vacation each year because we WANT people to take time off. It's not healthy to work forever and always with no breaks. I use the airplane mask analogy - on an airplane they tell you that if an oxygen mask drops, secure yourself before others. Because if you pass out before helping others, then you're useless anyway. It's the same with life and work, if you don't take care of yourself then you won't be able to take care of other people or things eventually.

    Strangely we had exactly the same issue for a few weeks with the red turbo nozzles, but it turned out not to be an issue with the supply/system, it was purely when we were pressure washing driveways somehow the grit, sand and minute stones found there way into the nozzle. Had it once, replaced the nozzle, did it again the next day, took it back, cleaned out, worked again for a day, happened again, took it back, cleaned, worked, did it again but eventually just happened to clear itself somehow. Can only figure we were unlucky with the driveways and they had some kind of different stone that somehow managed to find it's way into the nozzle, been using them now again for a few weeks with no issues !!

    • @PartridgeExteriorCleaning
      @PartridgeExteriorCleaning  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It seems like sometimes they take a while to settle in, it’s strange - I was super annoyed that day as 3 of those reds were still in the packaging and blocked up instantly so I was fuming 😅 think I just had some crap stuck in the hose or it’s partly degrading, we’ll see on the next job. Seems to run great on driveways though, confusing!

    So, forgive me for sounding dumb here, but I've always had this question in the back of my head. What happens with the weather in the UK and such that makes these roofs end up in such a state? Having the large amounts of mud and all that up there? Being a born and bred Arizonian I'm used to roofs staying relatively clean no matter our weather, even during our monsoon season, so seeing all these videos has me ultra curious~

    The first day back is always the worst. For the down spouts and hard to reach drainage I bought a jetter from amazon and its a great little piece of kit for clearing the clogs on drain pipes. Literally just attaches to the end of 1 of the guns and rips through all that stubborn blocked muck. I dont need on every job so just went with the cheap option at the minute it only cost around 50 quid if I find I need it on more jobs I'll upgrade to a professional version. Handy piece of kit to have in the van with you.

    I know you said you made a viewpoint decision to include more types of things on your videos. We've followed along learning about different surfaces, how to clean them, reaching difficult spots, protecting plants, rinsing off and more. That you are now including things you have to deal with, from traffic, new classes, new aspects from expanding, is good for everybody to learn. Just when you had maintenance done, a little part causing havoc is a sorry thing but at least you know about it now. Liked the owners comment that you all worked hard and Elias had good manners. Yes, we need this new level...moss clogs, "o" rings, troubled turbos and all. Your excellent work is being created by being able to juggle a lot of variables, as well as high standards and persistence. Glad you all did well on trouble-shooting the problems. That home looks well cheered-up with the cleaning. Nice work all.

    Seems to me you had an issue sent it in for a service. It came back all done and checked. Only for the issue to still be there and worse. Pws gear is good. But I took my small Honda in Pws for a few issues to be fixed they told me it would be around £450 and not worth spending that much on the machine I decided to look at it myself to see if I could fix it to sell it. The eye glass was cracked £10 for a new one and i fitted a new sump plug £6. All fixed and going strong. Think the £450 quote was so I’d buy a new machine. Either that or the work was £16 parts £434 labour.

    Sid.
    Why have you not fitted inline filters to all your Turbo Nozzles.
    All you need to do is clean the filter.

    How was the loose fitting causing debris to enter the hoses? Or was that a different issue?

    I see you were using a large flat drive cleaner, can you tell what one it was as I have a Hyundai petrol washer but can’t find a brush flat Drive patio cleaner.

    Hey Sid, love your videos... I was wondering, would your set up lend itself to graffiti removal from stone, concrete or brickwork? Do you ever get asked about this?
    It would be facinating to watch if you did....
    All the best!
