A genuinely glowing review from me for it, I actually don't think there's anything in that price range that competes currently. I went through about £6,000 worth of various jet washes before upgrading to this final setup I have now. If this had of existed then, I would of saved myself lots of money and time for sure. Hope you enjoy the video and let me know if you enjoyed it as I have tons of other comparison/time challenge video ideas.

Comparisons are always good these days. Reviews are often tainted by idiots not understanding what they've bought, how to use them properly or can't be bothered reading instructions before buying or prior to using the kit (especially on Amazon. Last one I saw last night was “smaller than expected.” Dimensions were on the listing so one can only assume their measurements were 50% bigger than everyone else). #devolving evolution.

Hi , good vid. when I saw the jcb name and price I thought Wow might be the one for me. I want a machine to clean tracked plant machines and my muddy yard but if I'm to buy a machine why not get one to clean drives etc and have another string to my bow. I use stihl, husqvana, Kubota etc. These are all the real deal and have the full back up of parts for their machines. I contacted a distributor of Jcb tools pressure washer and I also contacted JCB. JCB could only tell me that Jcb tools is on licence so they pay to use the name. They couldn't help me in any other way. The distributor could sell me the machine and offer a 3 year guarantee domestic or year commercial guarantee , the latter I thought was not a gift but actually the law. I was confused about the statement that it is fitted with a JCB engine! I don't think JCB make and engine like that. The problems that really stuck out for me was there is no parts list availlable and no direct emailing to Jcb Tools. I have rebuilt stihl saw that are 25 year old and haven't had any problems getting parts yet the distributor couldn't give me a parts list or order parts.
If this Jcb tools machine didn't have the JCB LOGO on you probably wouldn't have reviewed it and customers wouldn't be thinking they own a JCB machine.
I don't want to sound like I'm slagging it down, I want to buy a good cheap machine but I wouldn't recommend to anyone to buy a machine you can't email the manufacturer , you can't easily get parts and the name has been bought on liciense to sell the product.
People who are starting up and have very little knowledge of this type of kit are the very ones who can't afford to pay less.
I'm still looking and my yard is getting muddier so if you have any proffessional brands you know of , I'd be grateful for any info.
      Bob

Generally speaking the main difference between commercial and consumer products is what is called duty cycle. A consumer product just won't be rated for use on a daily basis. My late mother used to buy £15 battery chargers for charging car batteries for electric fences. She kept moaning that they were failing all the time. I told her to get a properly rated one and they stopped failing.

for sure, the 3 year warranty with this is the key. and most new starters won't have enough work to be blasting 8 hours a day 5-6 days a week like me, by that time you can definitely afford a big big upgrade

I've actually got this machine great little starter model. My only problem is starting the machine sometimes it can take a few minutes to get going but once going it's a beast. Other problems you'll have is moving it around to a back garden with poor access as the wheels make the machine really wide for most alley ways. I actually got some wheel ramps for my van to make it easy for on/off movement. But overall really happy with it.

Try the pressing the trigger down on the lance when you pull start it, more often than not it is just air pockets in the hose so it struggles to prime properly, all my previous pullstart machines did it from time to time. - yeah camerons got some ramps with his one, it's definitely pretty heavy for one guy to lift in and out without ramps

most of the time its technique, just doing straight lines on some surfaces will cause it hence why you'll see me do circle motions on nearly everything apart from blockpaving. other times it's dodgy jets or just going too fast. I will grab a cheap one and compare it to my one though for sure

Hey Sid how you doing buddy Great to see your back online after the birth of your son congratulations. I wanted to give you kind of a heads up and I'm not saying in any way that you wouldn't have already figured this out yourself but just in case...
I used to work for an environmental company and we did hydroblasting inside of Mills. It's important to know what the business is doing for its purpose before you go in and clean. Always make sure you check with your government or your state the agency that governs the laws and regulations of industry. For example, we went into paper mills and their Mill rights would set everything up that they wanted to have cleaned and we would clean it. However once we were done cleaning it we had to throw all of our PPE, or boots, everything that was in that environment had to be burned. We were not allowed to take it out into the community. So that is my point, it'd be great to get industrial jobs but you need to know ahead of time what that company does for a living, where are the dangerous environments, etc.
One more thing I would like to point out to you maybe it doesn't matter in this instance cuz I'm looking at a sign I think says molasses but anytime you're standing in front of a tank that has shut off valves. Never put your body in front of them. They may look innocent or they may be under high pressure. You just never know. Anyway take care of yourself, and know that your viewers will always have your back. Peace

Have a similar Honda machine on my employer supplied truck and a bloke on the same job with his own own employer supplied truck said his didn't work properly. He got it started alright but he left the choke on so once going to the machine was coughing and spluttering and using fuel at an alarming rate. He said he knew all about these pumps but clearly he didn't. I told him to turn the choke off but he refused to do that and so the machine kept on coughing and spluttering and not providing pressure sufficient enough to clean anything.

Hi Sid. I have been wondering if you could show us why the Surface Cleaner nozzles would break when you try to clean permeable tarmac/black top...?
I saw a video where a business was doing a cleaning job in wa, usa. He showed how his Surface Cleaner kept getting destroyed by the permeable tarmac.
A question I have about it is; would the Surface Cleaner still get destroyed if the tool were _not_ connected to a collection drum...?(which was on his trailer...)

I’ve got the Evolution pressure washer and it’s amazing. Just remember always squeeze the trigger after use and not connected to a water feed and that will empty the pressure valve and prevent it from splitting in the cold as I’ve been through a few.

I looked at the JCB before buying the Slipstream Pro 20 in July this year.
If you can, I would advise to stretch that little bit more and get the 20 (or an equivalent Honda GX390 engine) if you are getting it for a business (as opposed to simply using it on your own property).

your surface cleaner will just need to have a quick release female fitting on it - it doesn't matter which surface cleaner you go for as they can all be fitted with that fitting on purchase usually, best to head into a shop where you can grab those in person so they can sort it all out for you

It’s not just business users who watch, a lot of us domestic users would be interested in seeing what would be a good investment in these types of machines - ones which will do a really good job and won’t suddenly let us down, for an outlay of a little more money
That was very interesting to watch and the machine was the quality you’d expect from a company like JCB, good to see they’re still innovating

By far the most important thing is serviceability, parts availability and easy access to expertise when, not if things break. Buy cheap buy twice, but buy expensive is not always better either.Take Miele appliances for an example; very expensive to buy and shockingly expensive to repair.... I'll be sticking with my Kranzle thanks...

@@garyjefferies6763 if they make agricultural machinery I can see the pressure washers make sense. for one if you work on farms there is a lot to clean often. (mainly with life stock) plus what they make already uses like 90% what a pressure washer needs.

Now I'm no expert but that was damn impressive for a machine in that price range with a 15 litre flow rate to be just over 2 mins slower than your expensive setup is phenomenal, I only pressure wash my drive or my car so I've got karcher k5 pressure washer not sure of the flow rate but it's powerful enough for me.

Love the review and definitely I’m going to be purchasing the new JCB Jet Washer, based on your review, but now all I need for the kit would be the carbon fibre holes, hoses, flat, washer and rotary nozzle. What are your thoughts on being able to purchase these items and where from could you recommend the set up for the home user, who just wants to keep his own place clean, still following still loving still in your corner.
