RST is a good bet with it being a UK based company they are generally wider than most Italian brands and with it being an ankle boot, they are designed for comfort. @@bobomo5857 They are waterproof, If you want to be absolutely sure of it I would look at some Gore-Tex boots. Ankle boots are great for comfort but when you pull the trouser leg over them, they sometimes ride up over the top easier than a taller boot. and then it would fill with water if its tucked in. It depends on the track - normally they prefer a certain length but you do need to speak to the track as scrutineers at each track have differing specifications.
