I've only been flying my drone for about a week, but one thing I have discovered and I'm in a windy spot as well and I'm more of a photographer so this is probably a tip photographers is if you're going to try and take photos and you want to keep your drone still try and keep your drone down wind in other words get the drone up in the air and turn the drone, so the wind is actually behind the drone and not smashing into the face of the drone. If you think about it, when the wind is behind your body, you get a certain amount of protection from the wind and the same with the drone. If you've got the wind behind the drone, you will find that the camera will not be jumping all over the place as much. It's just a little tip that I found and I was thinking about this I do a lot of ground photography and I also stand down wind when I'm doing landscape or seascape photography so the wind is behind the camera, not smashing into the front of the lens which will make the lens wobble all over the place, just a tip that's all but I agree with Amy that flying this in anything probably over 30 km an hour is asking for trouble in my view. I took it up in about 15 or 20 and it was fine and it landed fine by it is going to struggle.
Haven’t ever taken my mini 3 pro out in any windy days.

Amy what you may or may not realise is that you have the drone hovering near a building with high hedges all around. As a pilot we encounter wind sheer when close to the ground. And turbulance from buildings (hangers) trees etc. That swirling wind increases and decreases in speed. But as we get higher the wind becomes more stable . Your little drone is fighting all these changes to stay level and stable. But at hight the wind is more stable requiring less adjustments to hold station and so more stable vidio. A heavier more powerful drone will still be jiggled around in that position. Perhaps a little bit less if it can react faster to the changes but even a helicopter will be effected just the physical size will make those small movements seem insignificant....
Hi I have a question...why my dji mini 3 does not respond to the controller if it is too windy outside...I always try to bring it back to home point but it does not do what I control it to do

Nice video! I´ve got a question, but from a completely different topic though. I wanna get the mini 3 pro and after watching loads of videos, I still couldn´t find out which is the best ND Filter for me. When it´s quite sunny or even when it´s cloudy the sky is gonna too bright and the ground to dark and I will want to fix that and obviously get that motion blur. Which filter should I get? I heared that the POL filters from Freewell only works if you film sideways to the sun

Very informative video Amy, it just shows how good the gimbal is on the Mini 3 Pro. So long as you're not trying to get close up shots the Mini 3 Pro is a champ. Obviously for stills it doesn't really matter about the wind at all. I just love the small form factor for portability. 🦘😎👍

A small note, if you want to see how much the drone has to moved by the wind while it's further away, switch the map to compass. This includes a visualization of the horizontal orientation of the drone.
