I'm an old (65ys) electrical engineer (from Hungary), and I designed very similar circuit.First time I searched the best method with my laboratory pulse generator. The ultimate best solution was a circuit like yours. You’re very adept at electronics! Both my dad and godfather were good chemical engineers (Rest in Peace) I learned a lot from them about the chemical side as well. My father was also a metallurgical engineer and electrician. I was 6 years old when I first picked up his soldering iron. My sons have also become electrical engineers, although it doesn’t matter if you engineer someone, the key is to care about loving what you do! Congratulation ! That depends on how badly desulfated your battery is, and what is it's current charge. I have a Pulsetech PowerPulse passive battery desulfator on my 2001 BMW battery as preventative maintenance as Pulsetech claims that there patented frequency they use can extend battery life up to three times. I also used my PowerPulse on my other BMW battery that I let sit disconnected for a year, and it was at 11.2 volts, I tried charging it with my friends Exide 6 amp automatic charger for 14 hours and battery voltage was at 13.1 volts, yet it would not start my other car. I put the PowerPulse on it along with a 1 amp Schumacher manual battery charger for 72 hours, and left the desulfator on it for a week and it started my car right up. My point is desulfation can take up to 30 days depending on how sulfated your battery is.

The input voltage is the 12v battery, or use the 13v transformer that is both charging and recovering
