A great Song From The King Of Music
Another great from the best singer of all time!!!!! He put his heart and soul in every song. When he was asked who he sounded like and he replied nobody he was right. 😊He was one of a kind and there will never be another one like him. To be gone for 43 years and still loved and missed tells it all.
Elvis voice in 1970 was perfect. All the songs he recorded in June of 1970 sound great.

With Elvis, his voice is so soulful, one really believes what he’s singing what’s in his heart. Yet at the same time I can feel his sadness and that’s what makes him such a great singer. If one can feel the passion of a great singer, what more could we want. Thanks John for the video.

Elvis recorded this in June 70 in Nashville ... with a marathon of other songs over 4 to 5 days ... it reached the top ten in the country charts in 71 ... great country song n yet again sang with sooo much heart n soul !! Congrats john 👏👏👏... where is my request ( swing down sweet chariot ) lol 🤷♀️

I heard this song for the first time when I purchased the album, Elvis Country, as a 13 yr old kid. It is the first selection I heard when I placed the album on the turntable, and I was totally blown away. I played it over and over again. The entire album was a masterpiece on a level that Elvis never again achieved in the studio. I have always wished that I could hear Elvis sing Moody Blue and She Thinks I Still Care, with his 1970 voice, before he began to sound tired all the time. Elvis continued to do good work until his death, but he never again equaled the power and quality he had in 1969 and 1970. During those two years he was in excellent shape and conditioned to a level we would never hear again.

I really do love Elvis and I would rarely say this , however the best version of this is by Engelbert Humperdink who knocks it out of the park; treat yourself to the Engelbert version. I'm not certain but I think it was written by Hank Williams.

This song is sad because Priscilla was leaving Elvis. 3 years later they got a divorce and Elvis let the world know they would always be close friends, so they could raise Lisa Marie in a good family environment. But he never stopped living her

I think it's appropriate that they showed photos of Priscilla all throughout this song...I really believe that Elvis still loved Priscilla and never got over her. I think when Elvis and Priscilla got divorced , that was the beginning of the end for Elvis.

hey John is Flora not Flora Laura this song is from the 60s that was a country hit I don't remember right off who sang it but I'm sure someone will tell you in the comments I've heard this song plenty of times Through The Years by Elvis but especially love this one because of the pictures in the photos of him and Priscilla I love anything that shows people that he had more love perfect Priscilla than they think he did have all of his girlfriends you see pictures of them together with him maybe they're sitting next to each other or maybe holding hands or sitting in the backseat of his Cadillac but nothing like the photos that you say of him and Priscilla even prior to the birth to Lisa Marie I mean the looks that they give each other you don't see that in any other photo with any other woman that he was with and I just want to get that out there to the fans who are against Priscilla who thinks that she is just a money grabber his father burning Vernon last day of state to Priscilla to protect for Lisa Marie because he only passed away two years after Elvis and knew that he would not be around long enough to take care of business TCB so I think she's done a hell of a job with Graceland and Lisa Marie to I just hope they're able to keep the legend going as long as possible your junky fan Laura Baxley
