Vegapunk was such a great character. I really liked how Oda written him as a very flawed genius instead of him being a stoic 400 IQ guy who always does things perfectly. He's a man who took accountability for his mistakes and actions in a smart way instead of always doing everything right.
Vegapunk is awesome. I think Oda hit the perfect balance with him. There is still enough to make him feel like a super genius, but lots of flaws and normal human reactions to ground him.

I finally found why poneglyfs are blue/ black and red. It’s just Haki infused stone. So much haki that no one can stratch them. Literally like 1 year worth of Haki😂 RED for Supreme and blue for Armament
This has been a prevalent theory for a while since the anime started to seemingly differentiate Conquerors haki as Red and Armament as Blue. This came up a lot when people were theorizing that Kaido was a poneglyph that ate a devil fruit before we found out what his fruit was.

I guess we speculated elbaf right so far, We specculated that Usopp would meet with his dad there (red haired pirate is with them in elbaf) Luffy would most likely face shanks there as a challenge or he will be betrayed by shanks...for prob good reasons...Usopp would learn Haki for real this time including possibly Nami & Brook, most likely Chopper bcz he also wished to see elbaf with Usopp. The remaining weak Crew members will all learn basic Haki.

My thoughts & opinions of the chapter: 1. While York's fate remains unknown at the moment, I do wonder if she'll figure out how her father was able to do all of that setup without letting her know. If so, then this could make the Elders view her as a liability instead of an asset worth keeping, while also making the Mother Flame a little less reliable than they thought. 2. When Vegapunk realized how wrong he was about using his Greed to create York, as well as what he left behind, I wonder if Lilith will become aware of it by some means and vow to never make the same mistakes her father made!
It might be my read on it but I really liked that Vegapunk blamed Lilith cause she embodies evil but then realizes he is wrong. So when he does make the transmission he says everything without taking a side even tho he is rooting for what the world right now views as evil, aka pirates and in this case the straw hats. Also definitely getting bounty increase after the worldwide news about “the egghead incident”.
I think it’s almost a guarantee the Straw Hats get a bounty increase across the board. They escaped a second Buster Call, “repelled” the Gorosei, and saved Bonney who can control ALL of the Pacifistas

the haki not being hostile means it was only directed at his enemies thats why nobody on the ship got hit or knocked out essentially at least thats how I see it and seraphims are like machines so maybe mental attacks simply dont work on them.

People always think the latest arc is terrible. The arc is too long but we need more fights, more lore, more answers. Oda has done a great job of leaving few stones unturned without revealing end of series questions.
I still wonder what happens to Kuma. A lot of people thought he’d sacrifice himself but it seems like he’ll make it away “alive”. With Morgans on the move it really makes me think he’ll meet up with the Strawhats and they’ll swap Bonney, Kuma and probably Lilith for Vivi. York with Wapols resources could really help the Revs, Sabo and the army can further train Bonney and maybe we finally get another dive into Kuma’s memories, maybe what Dragon asked Kuma what he saw before he ran away

I feel like the comment about Joyboy's Haki not seeming hostile is a sign that Joyboy had more control over his Haki than Shanks currently has. In the Anime when he first came onto Whitebeards ship and when he used Conquerors on Greenbull at the end of Wano Shanks 'was' randomly knocking out others with his Haki be it whitebeards crew or his own. I think Joyboy had a more mastered control over his haki to only knock out those who had malevolent intent towards him and those around him which is probably why S Snake wasn't knocked out either (due to Hancocks feelings for Luffy which carried down to S Snake) .

Yes, bounty raise. Luffy 100% IS GETTING A RAISE! Maybe Blackbeard, Zoro, Jinbe and Sanji as well. Here are my predictions: Zoro and Jinbe: Zoro from 1.1 billion to 1.7 billion. Jinbe from 1.1 billion to 1.4 billion Zoro and Jinbe defeated Rob Lucci. Zoro held off an Elder. Sanji: Raises from 1.03 billion to 1.5-1.6 billion. Sanji held off a Seraphim and survived an attack from an Elder. Blackbeard: Raises from 3.9 billion to around an even 4 billion. I still believe Aokiji is a double agent. So, having defeated Garp, the World Government might raise Blackbeard's bounty slightly to reflect the defeat of the great hero. However, given Blackbeard's previous feats, this would not be that much of a shock considering Aokiji was an admiral and Blackbeard has already defeated another Yonko, even if it was when he was already badly injured from war. So, not a significant increase and not enough to match Shanks, but a minor increase to reflect threat after defeating Garp. Luffy: Raises from 3 billion to 3.8 billion, putting him just under Blackbeard. Luffy directly fought and survived against the 5 Elders. That on top of Vegapunk's message about the One Piece. In the past the world government has given Luffy decent, but watered down, bounties. For example, if Luffy was given a fair bounty along with Kidd and Law, his bounty would've been higher since he beat a Yonko solo while Kidd and Law had to team up. What if Oda was being incredibly cheeky and basically laying out Joyboy’s plan using Vegapunk. It’s always bothered me that the WG could erase an entire century. Even if all written records are destroyed, if whatever happened was this important, the story should have survived by being passed down verbally. It would be altered over time, but a version should still exist if the secret was this crucial. So what if it wasn’t the WG? What if Joyboy and the ancient kingdom pulled a Vegapunk, coming up with a plan and using advanced technology to erase everyone’s (or at least their own) memories. And the note they left behind for future generations to find is the Rio Poneglyph, with the other poneglyphs pointing towards it and the One Piece, their ultimate reverse Uno card.

I feel like the stealth offline mode was more about Vegapunk finding a work around for his fruit. If everything goes up to his head then it just keeps growing. But with stealth offline mode you can pick and choose and limit the growth.
I think the only reason we saw baby boa and not others, is because as we saw earlier she's not hostile to Luffy an enemy so to say. For some reason it only took out the gorrosei and the marines but not giants or saw strawhats. I think even baby boa telling the vice admirals is reminiscent of boa telling the navy to follow luffy at Marineford. I think others we totally affected by the Haki.
About the hostile thing: I took it as he was able to direct his haki at enemies. You need to remember that every time someone used Coc, it was indiscriminately affecting everyone. You are only able to stay awake if your will is strong enough.

So it seems like the Seraphim use the Mother Flame as their power source. Because Shaka wouldn't have brought up the Seraphim at all when it comes to fluctuations with the power station and the mother flame. I finally found why poneglyfs are blue/ black and red. It’s just Haki infused stone. So much haki that no one can stratch them. Literally like 1 year worth of Haki😂 RED for Supreme and blue for Armament

This has been a prevalent theory for a while since the anime started to seemingly differentiate Conquerors haki as Red and Armament as Blue. This came up a lot when people were theorizing that Kaido was a poneglyph that ate a devil fruit before we found out what his fruit was.

My thoughts & opinions of the chapter:
1. While York's fate remains unknown at the moment, I do wonder if she'll figure out how her father was able to do all of that setup without letting her know. If so, then this could make the Elders view her as a liability instead of an asset worth keeping, while also making the Mother Flame a little less reliable than they thought.
2. When Vegapunk realized how wrong he was about using his Greed to create York, as well as what he left behind, I wonder if Lilith will become aware of it by some means and vow to never make the same mistakes her father made!
It might be my read on it but I really liked that Vegapunk blamed Lilith cause she embodies evil but then realizes he is wrong. So when he does make the transmission he says everything without taking a side even tho he is rooting for what the world right now views as evil, aka pirates and in this case the straw hats.
Also definitely getting bounty increase after the worldwide news about “the egghead incident”.
I think it’s almost a guarantee the Straw Hats get a bounty increase across the board. They escaped a second Buster Call, “repelled” the Gorosei, and saved Bonney who can control ALL of the Pacifistas

I believe there was no hostility because Joy Boy casually stored his haki. There was no threat. Thinking about it, that's a huge feat in itself.

I feel like the comment about Joyboy's Haki not seeming hostile is a sign that Joyboy had more control over his Haki than Shanks currently has. In the Anime when he first came onto Whitebeards ship and when he used Conquerors on Greenbull at the end of Wano Shanks 'was' randomly knocking out others with his Haki be it whitebeards crew or his own. I think Joyboy had a more mastered control over his haki to only knock out those who had malevolent intent towards him and those around him which is probably why S Snake wasn't knocked out either (due to Hancocks feelings for Luffy which carried down to S Snake) .
My head cannon is that Vegapunk gave himself and all the satellites the “stealth mode” in order to research about the void century

Luffy 100% IS GETTING A RAISE! Maybe Blackbeard, Zoro, Jinbe and Sanji as well. Here are my predictions:
Zoro and Jinbe: Zoro from 1.1 billion to 1.7 billion. Jinbe from 1.1 billion to 1.4 billion
Zoro and Jinbe defeated Rob Lucci. Zoro held off an Elder.
Sanji: Raises from 1.03 billion to 1.5-1.6 billion.
Sanji held off a Seraphim and survived an attack from an Elder.
Blackbeard: Raises from 3.9 billion to around an even 4 billion.
I still believe Aokiji is a double agent. So, having defeated Garp, the World Government might raise Blackbeard's bounty slightly to reflect the defeat of the great hero. However, given Blackbeard's previous feats, this would not be that much of a shock considering Aokiji was an admiral and Blackbeard has already defeated another Yonko, even if it was when he was already badly injured from war. So, not a significant increase and not enough to match Shanks, but a minor increase to reflect threat after defeating Garp.
Luffy: Raises from 3 billion to 3.8 billion, putting him just under Blackbeard.
Luffy directly fought and survived against the 5 Elders. That on top of Vegapunk's message about the One Piece. In the past the world government has given Luffy decent, but watered down, bounties. For example, if Luffy was given a fair bounty along with Kidd and Law, his bounty would've been higher since he beat a Yonko solo while Kidd and Law had to team up. However, to disguise the threat of Luffy, the World Government spun the narrative that all 3 were equal.
Now that Vegapunk had made his announcement, Luffy has ties with both Vivi and the Revolutionary Army AND Luffy has successfully survived against the Elders, they have no choice but to truly acknowledge Luffy's threat level in public. However, after the Elders report to Imu, Imu will probably not yet see Luffy's battle abilities quite as high as Blackbeard's yet.
S-snake might not be affected because she likes Luffy, the haki might not have seen her as an enemy

Garp has displayed the strongest haki so far in the story; maybe I’m wrong in that. But imagine him in his prime; and Roger matched, or even exceeded Garprime. I hope we run into shanks in Elbaf, and that if Luffy can defend the straw hat being taken by Shanks; that that will be Shanks’ test for Luffy being Joyboy. Their fight will cause Shanks defeat by black beard having been weakened by their fight.

What if Oda was being incredibly cheeky and basically laying out Joyboy’s plan using Vegapunk. It’s always bothered me that the WG could erase an entire century. Even if all written records are destroyed, if whatever happened was this important, the story should have survived by being passed down verbally. It would be altered over time, but a version should still exist if the secret was this crucial.
So what if it wasn’t the WG? What if Joyboy and the ancient kingdom pulled a Vegapunk, coming up with a plan and using advanced technology to erase everyone’s (or at least their own) memories. And the note they left behind for future generations to find is the Rio Poneglyph, with the other poneglyphs pointing towards it and the One Piece, their ultimate reverse Uno card.

For some reason it only took out the gorrosei and the marines but not giants or saw strawhats. About the hostile thing: I took it as he was able to direct his haki at enemies. You need to remember that every time someone used Coc, it was indiscriminately affecting everyone. You are only able to stay awake if your will is strong enough.

So it seems like the Seraphim use the Mother Flame as their power source. Because Shaka wouldn't have brought up the Seraphim at all when it comes to fluctuations with the power station and the mother flame. I mean it makes sense too, that the Seraphim would need something that powerful to be their original source of power. And it's so powerful that they don't even have to be in egghead, but can just get a piece and be basically set, as we see the other seraphim roaming around outside of egghead

This chapter confirms Sanji took an L from letting vegapunk die.
I know a lot of his fans are ignoring that sanji just said in this chapter that we can not let you die. We got to do something.
Literally before getting stabbed vegapunk told sanji to do it and sanji answered "alright i know"

@@levipeter8381 Not much going on in your heads. He was arguing against the idea of letting Vegapunk die but ended up going with it. If you were to actually read the manga you could see the things he was saying and his expressions give him away in hindsight. When he tells Bonney he'll bring Vegapunk back he gives the exact same expression he does when telling the group on Zou he would be come back. when he's carrying Vegapunk he says "I know" in response to Vegapunk telling him to "stop! enough" after picking him up which means Sanji was in on the plan but had to make it look like he was trying to save him after Luffy gave him the order
That was probably a hint at divine Haki. It wasn't hostile because it was something beyond it. That probably why Mihawk has it, because he seems calm all the time. Something like Gokus ultra instinct
good chapter but i mean all it did was show that Vegapunk planned this out 2 weeks ago/ 6 days ago, Vega wants them to find the One Piece, and theyre going to Elbaf.. which couldve been explained in like 1 page tbh
i cant lie egghead might be the best arc of the whole series. One piece is older than me and i didnt start reading weekly until egghead so maybe theres a little bit of a bias but the amount of things that happened and the amount of things we learned is fucking CRAZY
yes for the bounties, i could also see bonney getting an increase and dorry and broggy getting updates as well
Two things can happen, one bounties get raised and they move on or two they don’t get bounty increases to keep what happened low key.
