Hi Mike great video ,, does the 900r run hot , can u sit trail side with it running without it getting into 200 deg . I have a zr9000RR with the 998 motor bone stock and it runs hot. I have to shut it off every time I stop for a period of time I sit while the people I ride with have two strokes that sit on the trail with them running
No, you can sit with it running for a while. I find my two-stroke warms up quicker than my four stroke, and I can run my 4stroke on less snow. It’ll run cooler for stroke needs less snow trying to say no never had a heating issue on my 4stroke
Thanks for another great video Mike!! I have to ask though, to get your 180hp, do you have a tuned 900 Turbo or do you have the 900 Turbo R? I ordered an Expedition SE with the 900 Turbo R for next year. Trying to watch video and learn as much as I can about that motor. Thanks for the content!!
I have 2020 900ace turbo it has precision EFI stage one tune which gives it actually 185 hp work was done by ledger performance Motors are amazing smooth lotta power very reliable I’m sure you will be happy with it I only had issues in the handling which I worked out and love my sled thanks for watching and commenting IHope I helped you
Nice video again Mike. Yap. I think best sled too. We got 900 Turbos too. My buddy has the xrs and other guy has the Enduro and I got the x. Your weather really getting warm there ? I looked up Barrie weather. Ouch. Up here in Timmins it looks great till the end of March. Last night me and the guys took a ride to Cochrane for a burger again. Just a beautiful ride. I know that trail so good I could almost ride it with my eyes closed. LOL. We're going to have to meet up some time if you feel like coming up to Timmins. You'd fit right in. Your crazy like the rest of us. LOL. Well?? Keep those sliders cool man. 😁
Ya Mike?? I seen your next video. Stay tuned for next ride timmins to Cochrane. LOL. I thought yous were already here. Lol. Listen. If you can't get rooms? Because lots of sledders here. Let me know. I got two extra bedrooms and I live alone. Well. I got a cat. He likes company. I watched one of your older videos. You got the trail bike in the living room. LOL. Gotta love it. 😆
That’s surprising a friend of mine had adjustable TS pilot skis and got the snow tractors for it. Maybe you Gotta keep on checking but I’m sure you can get that for those skis.
in addition to your comments at the end, have you had it on any twisty trails like in the muksokas? i really want one but i keep hearing about how heavy they are etc. but i can do up to 10,000km a year so i think i should jump to a 4 stroke
Four strokes are awesome but I had to set up for me My 850 a few clicks on the suspension and I was ready to go but I think now the four stroke is better
@@mikeguliz so you think if i can find a decent 2020/2021 i should jump on it? id probably take it to accelerated tech to get it dialed in. im less than an hour north of them, from what ive heard its crucial to get these things set up and snowtrackers are a MUST. how much lighter is the steering with those vs the stock TS carbides? Dumb question, compared to the 850 hows the mileage?
I really can’t tell you which machine would be better for you but if you put on 10,000 km a year the four stroke is 100 times better more reliable and you won’t have any issues at all for sure how much later do the snow trackers feel well I can tell you it feels lighter than the 850 and the mileage question not sure what you’re really asking me but you can put way more kilometres on with the four stroke then you can with the two stroke or four stroke will do it with ease keep in mind that the snow trackers will make you feel a lot lighter but it will give you a little more push in the corners but well worth it it won’t dart and Inside ski won’t lift as much
The only way to tell for sure try one out I would I have them both and I’m saying that the four stroke after I had it set up the way I liked way better machine
Are you purely a Doo guy? The VR1 is the best sled I've ever ridden, hands down. I drove the 900 Turbo (not the R) and just didn't like it for the types of trails we have here in NB. I did, however, buy a new Lynx Rave RE for 23 and that'll be my first BRP product, but the sitting position is similar to Polaris. Great videos though, next time I'd like to try one of those 900 TurboR's with the snow trackers on it...might make the difference for me, they certainly work on my Assault.
No it’s not that I prefer skidoo over other brands I have tried to Polaris and I do like it a lot it’s just happened that I ended up with skidoo and so far the best that I’ve owned is the 900 turbo but I will try a Polaris don’t know when but I have it in mind I was thinking the new 850 boost is on my mind
except for reliability Boosted 2 stroke is not going to last 10k miles, let alone 20 +k miles for a 4 stroke. but if you are the type to keep a sled for a few years and move on, then you have a point. Be well.
@@mrwhamisrick yeah and honestly their is boosted nytros, vipers and sidewinders that can go for 30000K plus kms on 91 octane and stock internals making 270hp. These turboed 2 strokes do not make even close to that power and only last 3000-5000 miles if you drive them hard and honestly the weight difference is nothing when a nytro with a few mods can way only 20 lbs more than a skidoo 850 turbo
Love my Polaris XC 650 ! Light quick nice ride. I got 22 mph on one easy ride. Most of the time I get between 17 to 19 mpg but I will admit I'm older and ride slower. No need for a 4 stroke for me
Great video man. I'm hooked on my TurboR. Thing just pulls forever.
awesome machines👍
Less Music! We wanna hear the sled!
Good Video!
i"ve been using less music 👍
Looks like a great day for riding! Nice video Mike!
Thanks
Totally depends on where you ride how you ride your age conditions you ride in. I love my Polaris XC 650
Rip it!!grip it !! bro Nice video 🥃🥃cheers

Perfect background music for your ride.
I have the 2022 900 turbo r enduro with the adjustable pilot skis. Can I get the snowtrackers for it ?
That’s surprising a friend of mine had adjustable TS pilot skis and got the snow tractors for it. Maybe you Gotta keep on checking but I’m sure you can get that for those skis.
Yelper braaaaap great videos
Thanks
I like the Big girls in the winter , I take the Alpine to the Bar , I have a Sleigh ?

I take it into the Tight twisties all the time at first didn’t really like it compared to the 850 but now I prefer it

He looked closer in real life !
Yes scared me in real life watching it on the video doesn’t look so bad
Nice looking sled ! But when you’re ready to leave the bar , where do all the bitches ride ? You gotta sleigh ?
the zoo! u shoulda game riding with us yesterday but i thought u went to cochrane?
got back Monday
next time👍
Glad I didn’t go with a boosted 4 stroke now that the boosted two stroke era has begun. All the power and lightweight. With none of the drawbacks .
except for reliability Boosted 2 stroke is not going to last 10k miles, let alone 20 +k miles for a 4 stroke. but if you are the type to keep a sled for a few years and move on, then you have a point. Be well.
Drawbacks like shorter engine life and less reliable.
