just watched u r utility box , i did install the same lights they work excellent , i have a 900 2024 ACE , need to install led head lite bulbs & rod holders . like u r video thanks. keep it up .

LED lights changed the lighting industry forever. For the good of course. We had the old work lights on the back of our trucks and you couldn't hardly see anything with them, they were better than nothing but the LEDs came out and wow what a difference they made. I'm telling you I could see better going backwards than forwards! No body realizes how much more light you get from LEDs until they see it.

Great work. I may copy some of this, got a 2020 Exp SE 600 etec + do lots of hunting + ice fishing.
I did something similar with my '18 & '23 Summit. But I also put a short LED strip in my glove box.
Great video! I have a 2022 Skandic with that ridiculously expensive box. My sled did not come with it I hated shelling out the money for it but it is an awesome box. I'm not brave enough to try what you have done but it certainly is a practical improvement. Good luck with your new sled she's a beauty!

Nice to find yet another some what local channel. I was wondering the back of that LED rear light is all cooling fins how hot does that thing get?? Good luck fishing this year.
Not sure!? Maybe it will heat up my box and keep my auger batteries warm lol. Cant imagine it will be much of an issue especially if it’s cold out

Hi just did the Box mod you described. Thanks awesome idea! only issue Im encountering is power. If I use the extension cable you described with the inline fuse the on off switch gets power but the lights don't light up. If i go direct to battery with the fuse it all powers up. with regards to wiring did you get rid of the fuse altogether? I wasn't 100% sure on the wiring from video. You didn't use the 40 amp relay Im assuming for this and just cut up the wiring harness for what you needed? seems like the issue is the fuse! the largest I have is a 30 amp not sure if a 40 amp would work? Any help would be great. Thanks
I can’t remember 100% but I know the polarity was reversed on that light or something! Try switching red/black around. Couldn’t get mine to work until i figured that out

Yeah!
Is the light inside the cargo box on all the time. If it is I’d try to wire it so the light is activated when the lid is opened.

I’m sorry to both you , did you happen to get a cover to fit our machines (to cover the entire thing rear seat and storage) and trailer able? 🙏
@@brettgonzales9295 the Ski-Doo, ROC cover is excellent, just doesn't cover the box. Does a good job keeping the salt and road dirt off it.
Not sure if you know but, cool feature, the cover is velcrowed over the windshield so it opens, you can drive it up or down your ramps while leaving the cover on.
Just makes it easier. Put the cover on before you load it, velcro, ride on/off velcro, repeat.
