- My first truck kit!
Very easy to build and almost snaps together
Revell does it again by providing an excellent model
I used Spray cans for majority of the painting along with brush painting some Tamiya Acrylics.

It is very cost effective to paint with premier spray paint!
I just finished the same model. Did it in Deep metallic blue. I typically paint the engine pieces separately, my eyesight is not as good as when I was younger and it's just easier and I get better accuracy. And I designed the hood to open and close and I drilled a hole in the chrome skid plate to put the air/electrical line tree in. I fabricated all that from the parts trees.
When I was a kid building all these models I used to have to punch my little brother for screwing with them and breaking pieces off! LOL!!!

There's a trick to the wheels. They aren't symmetrical, the three posts are a slightly flattened triangle. If they don't fit rotate them and you'll eventually get them to line up.
Looks great, the parts do friction fit without glue fairly well😊

Then u realize that u got to take it apart to paint. It happened to me the first time I got that set
Halfway done with mine. I ordered tiny led lights to deck mine out with.
I agree the tires/rims were garbage to fit properly. Everything else is really nice

I have found that the 1/24 scale wheel and tire sets used in the italeri us semi truck kits fit perfectly on this kit and they look very realistic compared to wheels supplied in the kit

It was originally a snap together kit, and there's a peterbuilt 359 kit# 85-1506 was originally a snap kit

Great build but you should have used good hobby paints to get a better even shine.
This is a beautiful build, what are the final dimensions? I was looking for a Kenworth model kit but this one looks small.
Thanks! it is about 12" long, 4" wide and like 5" high,
Holding paint sprayer too far away from the object; paint is drying before it hits the truck surface.
That frigging music is annoying!
